Yes, you might have to wait for Dr. Davidson but she is worth it. Dr. Davidson is highly trained and a professional that truly cares! Anyone complaining and who is on insurance should be ashamed. Most Psychologists are private pay now! This is one of the reasons why she is so busy, she is giving back to the community. She is also busy because she does care and you really do matter to her!

I would not bother with her. Against the advice of someone to not go there because of the way her office is ran and unprofessionalism by her staff… I went there. Having not many options from my insurance and her relative closeness to my home, I took a chance. Fast forward 9 months after my son’s evaluation, nothing. We waited almost 9 months for her to complete the report, asking every week we went there and nothing but excuses. Only excuses by her and her staff. The best part is that I did a most of the work myself. They would give me excuses that the schools were not responding or that the hospital wasn’t getting back to them. I walked myself to those offices, got the paperwork, brought it back to her and we STILL did all that waiting and kept getting excuses. One day she finally told me she would have it on a Monday next week. Monday came and she left me a voicemail telling me she was out sick. Was it maybe because she was just writing it up??? Who knows. Unprofessional is all I can say.
That’s just to mention a few of the issues with her. In the end we moved out of town, left with her promise that she would refer us to a good psychologist in our new town. Although we found someone new here who is fab and her staff doesn’t walk out on a daily basis, we are still waiting for that call. Called her three months ago to ask her a question, still waiting. That’s what you will do with her. Wait, wait forever. Apparently I can’t leave this post without adding a star so there it is, one star that means NOTHING.

I began seeing Dr. Davidson roughly three to four months ago. I was referred to Dr. Davidson by a friend and I’m very glad I took her up on it. I have no qualms with seeing a psychologist/​therapist. Maybe when I’m rich one day, I’ll have one on call ;) I can’t speak for others, but Dr. Davidson talks to me as if I’m a friend, and without even my realizing it at the time, I’ve learned something about myself that is helping me with my personal situation. She doesn’t do the Freud-​esque, taking notes and asking questions like, «Tell me about your mother» thing. I know seeing a therapist can be off-​putting for some, but she treats me with respect and lets me get everything out of my system during our sessions. I feel I’ve made significant progress in the short time I’ve been here. Sometimes she runs a bit late on appointments-​but this is because she is working with patients who called in with an emergency. I’m happy to budge my schedule a little bit for those who genuinely need it. On the other edge of the sword, if I had an emergency, I know she’d rework her schedule to fit me in or take a call.

I can’t speak for Dr. Lisa Davidson because I have not met her but the experience I had with Dr. Arian has been very pleasant. My 4 year old son responds very well to her and I’m sure it’s because she has a gentle motherly demeanor that is sincere, honest, and, trustworthy. Dr. ‘A’ gave us great feedback and professional advice that has had a significant impact to our son’s social behavior and communication skills. A huge improvement and his preschool teacher has praised it. If you are seeking help with your child, I highly recommend Dr. ‘A’.

This lady is THE BEST. I’m not one to mince words, and that might be what lead me to initially have to look for someone like Dr. Davidson. Fortunately GOD must have been looking down on me when I came across her name and called her office. It was great, the friendly staff understood that I needed to see the doctor NOW, and they made special arrangements so that I could get in right away. I have now been in regular «sessions’ with Lisa Davidson, and if there is anyone better out there than Dr. Davidson, I don’t want to know. This lady set me at ease, she is so easy to talk to, it seems like she already knows what I want to tell her before we even sit down. I have reached the point where it isn’t necessary for me to even go back to meet with Dr. Davidson as, and I know «cure» isn’t the right word, SHE HAS THE CURE. Do yourself a favor, call, make an appointment, and just spend 1 session with this amazing woman. She really knows her stuff. Thank you Dr. Davidson, you saved my career, and most likely my life!

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this Dr. Lisa Davidson. Dr. Davidson is the most unprofessional psychologist I have ever encountered. Every time I went to an appointment I had to wait 30+ MINUTES! She never kept original appointment times and was constantly being interrupted by her receptionist. She would then go in the hall to talk with her, taking up my time that I’m paying for.
At one point her PHONE GOT A TEXT MESSAGE AND SHE STARTED TEXTING IN FRONT OF ME! She told me «Don’t worry, I’m still listening». I was shocked and didn’t feel like telling her anything else because at that point I knew she wasn’t even paying attention to me. I was in a very vulnerable and naïve thinking that this was normal, but NO, it isn’t. No psychologist should ever treat a patient with such disrespect. I have never had such an horrible experience with any doctor in general. She’s constantly changing appointment times and doesn’t follow her schedule and has complete disregard for her patients. Research your psychologists and steer clear of Dr. Davidson!

I can not agree more. Dr. Davidson is patient and kind and is sure to provide the full attention and care that each client/​patient deserves, 100%. I always know that if I am waiting it is for good reason and I am always thankful when she takes the extra time for me, especially when we are make progress! Thank you Dr. Davidson!
