Horrible place. Super expensive. Products that would be a dollar somewhere else are 3 bucks here. Never coming back.

Four incidents in a 12 month period: 1 — Stale sweet bread. Did not return it. 2 — Almost spoiled salsa fresca in a plastic container(see Wendy K.‘s review). Did not return it. 3 — Green with mold corn tortillas. We DID return them for a refund. 4 — The worst, spoiled and stinky raw chicken fillets for making milanesas. When we took them back, the person helping us questioned us and only gave us back $ 3. Never shopping here again!!! I hate to do this to small business but they need to get their act together.

Beware when the salsa goes on sale. They’re trying to move old food. This place sold us «fresh» salsa that was so old it was bubbling when we opened it. Gross!

I really wanted to like this place, however it’s no bueno. First off… tacos are $ 1.39 not .99cents. 2nd– reviews here are probably NOT real 3rd, although nice people, they don’t care about the customer, or better they don’t understand the concept of making customers happy, and keeping customers. as noted by the empty store. The meat did not look good, and everything else… WAY overpriced. Sorry, I like helping the small business, but when you are not willing to help yourself, I cannot help you.

Horrible customer service… Bought a local deal and they wouldn’t allow me to use it with out printing it even though the voucher says its redeemable by showing the voucher code and it had a scan code that was also usable… On another note the produce was old and some was even molding.

My husband and I stopped in here because we happened to be in the area. We were running late for our own housewarming party and we were in need of good marinated carne asada and pollo asado! We found this market on Unilocal and though it only had one review, we gave it a try and we are SO happy we did. We purchased 9 pounds of meat and it was delicious. All the salsas are also delicious and authentic but beware some are definitely spicy! They were out of guac so the nice lady made us two containers on the spot! Needless to say those were gone within 5 minutes of opening them at the party. The fresh made tortilla chips were also amazing and they had great tortillas! I’m really pleased with this market and wish we lived a little closer. The younger girl that was working there was also very helpful and helped us get what we needed for 20 people. If you are planning a BBQ, this is the place to go to get really flavorful food. You won’t regret it!

I’ve been looking for a market that services fresh meat. I made many stops in the area and finally I came across this market. They have fresh meat, and mexican cuts that you cannot find in Poway. We bought a few pounds of steak and had a barbecue party at the house over the weekend. The employees are super nice and friendly and the person that runs the front register is a comedian. I keep going back to this place because of service and the freshest produce in the county. Glad Poway finally found it’s niche super market. Might say«latino market» but it’s pretty diverse. If you haven’t been here give it a shot and leave a reply under mine and let me know your thoughts. Oh and don’t forget about Taco Tuesday — 69cents for tacos. Who makes taco’s for 69 cents? You will be pretty satisfied guaranteed.
