Mr. W and I were both not too hungry so we shared a sandwich. Subway was conveniently nearby so that is where we went! The location was empty so it was just us and the one server. No problems whatsoever with parking — we just went there, parked and went in. This was around 8−9pm at night. We shared the chicken teriyaki footlong. I believe we got the Italian Herbs & Cheese bread, two small boxes of the chicken teriyaki put on — toasted with provolone cheese. For vegetables, we added lettuce, onions, tomatoes(he ate my share), green bell peppers, and cucumbers along with salt and pepper sprinkled afterwards. Normally I would get everything without the green bell peppers and most definitely the tomatoes, but it was actually pretty good(without the tomatoes). I ended up eating ¼ while he finished the rest of the ¾. Standard Subway, regular service, nothing too special nothing too bad.

I’m giving this Subway location 2 stars because I’m judging it on the«Subway Scale»(comparing with every other Subway I’ve eaten at, which is a good amount). I’ll start with the staff. They are not an effective team. There were 6 people behind that counter and they couldn’t manage the small line that had accumulated. One woman, she was very nice, just couldn’t hear me. I’m a very clear speaker and I kept having to correct her on everything bread related, multiple times. That sounds awful to comment on but it’s enough to delay the line of people wanting to grab a sandwich and go. No communication between staff members whatsoever. They’re forgetful and abrupt. The sandwich was poorly made but not the worst I’ve had. Definitely on the bottom end of the totem pole of Subways in my experience and it’s mainly because of the staff and timeliness.

You can’t beat the daily deals here, as long as your luck lands on the right day. Today was a good day 4 me cuz the $ 6 footlong on Mondays is Turkey. The high school kid who made my sandwich was genuinely nice & had great customer service skills. The store was clean & all the employees were upbeat, despite the heat. I think I’ll be coming to this spot much more bc my local sandwich goes through new ppl all the time. All in all, this place just seems better managed. Parking here is way easier than at other places, PLUS u can browse the Dollar Tree next store. I’m tempted to dock –1 star for the Heat inside the restaurant, but instead I’m gonna let it slide today. It’s 97′ out & it seems to be hot Everywhere!

Just went in 6 minutes before closing the owner is a @$$hole. would not take my order dose not care about costumer service. Worst please not friendly would not recommend going there. The one by the movies is 1000 times better they take ur order 3 minutes before closing.

Walked into the shop and the girl greeted me very loudly I guess trying to get someone’s attention in the back, which was okay cause this girl was cleaning tables. When I got over to order she decided she wanted to make it for me no problem but she didn’t wash her hands after handing the rag and chemicals from cleaning the tables and grabbed a by the area where your fingers go and put it on to adjust it she grabbed the fingertips with her ungloved hand. Okay fine maybe not super sanitary but I would live. Then she grabbed the bread and I wanted the tuna so she scooped the first helping no problem but then on the second helping she fumbled a little bit with something after she put the scoop in and asked me about the cheese. Well to my disbelief it was clearly a long black hair, obviously someone’s hair but when he grabbed it out from the container she exposed it by leaving it on the WHITESANDWICH board. Literally she was grossed out and you could see it on her face but she seemed very surprised that I declined to go any further with the sandwich and left. Yuck!!! If she had just wiped it off to the ground I would not have known not making it any better but seriously why would you think I would want to eat this particular sandwich!!!

Service is terrible! So rude. Lady said it was $.60 extra for egg ended up being charged $ 1.00. Lady got mad at me for her not hearing my order so she complained about how much steak she put on there. Footling ended up costing me $ 10!!! Not worth it for subway!!! Could go to an actual restaurant for the same price and get better tasting food and service.

If I could, I would give this place zero stars. I was on my way home from doing errands in Poway and this was the closest Subway in the area. The 2 girls that were working there were really new and really didn’t know what they were doing. I highly doubt a manager or supervisor was even there. I was getting 2 sandwiches and told them that I wanted them on Wheat Bread. They were about to give me White Bread instead. How do you understand white from Wheat is beyond me. When it came to putting on the topping for my 2 sandwiches, they were really stingy on the toppings. When I asked for more, she acted like it was much more work and a pain for her to add more toppings. When she was checking me out, she asked if I wanted Chips and Drinks. I told her, no drinks but chips with one order and cookies for the other order, well, she only wanted to hear what she wanted to hear. She only gave me the chips and not the cookies even though I told her numerous times, cookies and even pointed at the cookies like I wanted some. I definitely will not be coming back to this store ever. I would rather drive to another store that will actually listen to me and that will pile on the toppings without asking me to add more.

Rude new staff, been going there for a yr always got same thing always been quick. now I stand in line for 25 minutes when there is only 3 or 4 people. They skimp on all food. I asked for a blt I got 4 pieces of bacon really. I don’t think that would fill my goldfish then when he rung me up came out to 6.75 for 4 pieces of bacon lettuce and tomatoes. when it’s been 5.40 after tax for a yr and half and I’ve gotten a real sandwich. When I said why is it that price he proceeded to tell me «I know how to do my job sir thank you very much.» Will not be returning.

Can get crowded here at lunch time other times are no problem. Parking can be a problem at lunch time as well. I really like the speed of Subway sandwiches. If I am the only one in line then I can get my sandwich in a few minutes. I also really like the fact that I can get my roll toasted. I think they took this idea from Quiznos. I usually get a five inch roast beef sandwich although sometime I get a Ham and swiss cheese with mustarad. I have never gone here for breakfast though just doesn’t appeal to me.

Update. Manager reads Unilocal,and calls and says«anytime you come here I’ll make sandwich whatever way you like» and with no apology has the nerve to explain why mozzarella cheese doesn’t go on sandwich. Considering there’s a cleaner subway, staffed with employees that can think outside the cheese box 0.5 miles away, and made me a sandwich«whatever way I liked» the first time I went in. I will never return to this store.

If there were 0 stars I would give it that. Honestly I love subway. What’s not to love? But this location. Ugh. I usually go to this location because it is near my home. Now I’m not hating on this entire location. But there was just one person that made me mad. First of all they had no choice of bread except for plain old italian. Why not just tell me you only have italian instead of making me guess what bread you did have. And then I went for a chicken sand which and she put one strip of chicken. Is that normal? Not to mention she put a thin layer of lettuce which sucked because I love lettuce in my sand which. It adds crunch and freshness to it. And then the worst part. The sauce. The sauce can make or break your sandwhich. I asked for a good old chipotle dressing and she literally put one line of it. In the end it was the worst sandwhich I ever had.

I went into this Subway to purchase a six inch Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich. When they rang me up they charged me for the turkey bacon avocado sandwich, and then added another .75 cent charge for avocado. The workers there stated they were trained to do this. Subway advertises the sandwich at five dollars including the avocado but the owner has instructed his workers to charge extra. Avoid this place. The lines are long. Go to the Subway near Stater Brothers. They are much better.

I usually go to this Subway because it is closest to me. It is clean and the employees are efficient. It is one of the few fast food places I can eat at because of my whole food plant based diet. I only eat the veggie delight. Some times the 6 inch, some times the foot long depending on how hungry I feel at the time. The only thing I wish is that the lemonade was the regular kind rather than the light kind. But even then I can add fresh lemon juice from the lemon wedges to compensate. It also depends on what time you go. During lunch time very crowded of course probably everywhere. But any other time very quick service. I also like there hours. The stay open later than the Chipotle that is across the court yard.

Feel like I’m losing my mind here — Last week went to another Subway — bought a footlong(i.e. 12 inch) and a 6 inch sandwich — used a coupon — buy 6 inch get another 6 inch free — all went well. Paid for the footlong and got the 6 inch free. Today(here at this Poway store) — Ordered a footlong — again 12 inch — sandwich and a 6 inch — gave the guy my coupon. But no… no can do. According to him I have to buy a 6 inch to get a 6 inch free. I try explaining that I am buying the 12 inch which should cover my 6 inch buy. But no… I said well then, cut the 12 inch in half. No– that wasn’t gonna cut it either. So I land up paying for all. Although dopey me — on the way home it occurred to me that since I have now paid for a 6 inch sandwich, I should get another 6 inch free. Even though I didn’t want it. Think I’ll pass on this little lesson in frustration ever again.

Well here I am eating at a chain restaurant. I normally do not do that, but I like to eat at subway when it is done right. This location is very clean, so is the staff if you know what I mean. They are friendly and courteous quick too. The ingredients at this location are very fresh, I cannot say the same for some of the other locations. I will give this one the thumbs up go ahead eat fresh lol!
