I’ve been going to the Ingles deli in Powell for about 6 years now, FAITHFULLY! Their meals are quite reasonable and tasty. A meat, two veggies and a roll for about $ 5. Sometimes the veggies are under seasoned but their mashed potatoes rock! Today I went to the deli for their«Mojo Pork» it is very good. I said that was what I wanted with a double order of yellow rice. The server said that they can no longer let you get a double order of the same vegetable with your meal. WTF? I mean, are they going to go broke giving a double order of yellow rice? Two orders of mashed potatoes with the meatloaf? OMG, shut down the deli, the customers are trying to rip us off again! I sincerely hope that they reconsider this policy. There will soon be a huge nice, new Kroger opening down the street and I just bet you can get as many of the same vegetables as you like there. ;-)

I love this store. Huge selection of good produce and excellent butcher. I also have to say the pharmacy department is excellent. They are very helpful in knowing my insurance and when i can get refills etc. They sometimes have a coupon they apply which is nice of them. good location. Excellent service

This grogery deserves an A+ in looks, cleansliness, service and most of the staff. My daughter were shopping over the weekend and we happened to ask a stock clerk, a question about a gluten free item. Her name is Annie and she is wonderful. She not only told us where to look but actually came with us. She also helped us find 2 other items that were at opposite enss of the market, again taking us there. With the exception of a male cashier,(crabby) we always get the nicest answers from anyone we ask. We called that evening, to let a manager know about Annie and I just called to place an order for a case of a particular gluten free beer. This company gets that customer service is so important, I will pass Krogers and Food City to go to my Ingles, because they are worth it.

Even though this grocery store is out of the way for me, I save more money by shopping at Ingles than I would by shopping at Kroger, Food City, Publix etc. Reasons why I love Ingles: Smartwater 6 packs are under $ 5 Sometimes they actually have Burratas! Yum! Love Love Love their Chicken Salad! They have the Velveeta white mac & cheese The only things I’m not crazy about here is their produce(it seems to go bad faster than when I buy it other places), and I’m not the biggest fan of their meats. Other than that I really love Ingle’s. Even though it’s a little bit of a drive I recommend you check this place out too! Cheers & Enjoy!

There are places that folks inevitably visit over the course of a life, in addition to the usual fare of churches, physicians, dentists, automobile related venues, schools, and such, since one does not live by « Unilocal!» alone, one will generally visit and become a regular patron of a grocery. Groceries exist in all shapes and sizes, from the mega to the minuscule, from the cheap to the classy. There’s the ‘pump and run’ for the odd gallon of milk, to the dimly lit ‘grocery experience’ with classical music playing softly, visited on forays seeking special items for memorable edible experiences. Since moving from the West area of K-town, I’ve become a regular patron of the Ingles at I-75 and Emory Road. Though a tad off my usual daily path, the cleanliness, well-stocked shelves, wide isles, and wide variety of items in each food group make the stop worthwhile. This location began as a ‘regular’ Ingles location; however it has undergone a remodel/renovation/upgrade, placing it in the Lower-Mega size class. Frankly, anything much larger should be mandated to have GPS devices installed on the shopping carts, along with saddlebags for changes of clothes and snacks. As mentioned, the isles are nice and wide, which comes in very handy whenever passing or meeting oncoming traffic, especially should the oncoming traffic be engaged in engrossing phone conversations.(Ever wonder if the percentage of ‘hanky-panky’ phone calls has increased due to cell phones?) Great frozen food section, easy to see and reach items. The fishmonger fellow is always ready to custom wrap, or offer suggestions for menu or preparation. There’s the usual bakery/deli/salad bar area, always neat and clean, and they’re willing to create special trays for any occasion needed. The walk-in beer cooler is a plus, and there’s a good selection of specialty brews available, though the micro-brew area is a tad sparce. There’s Ingles Gas conveniently located at the upper end of the lot, which offers fuels at competitive pricing. The parking area is very well maintained, with plenty of handicapped and ‘new parent’ slots(nice touch, that!). Exiting the parking lot is helped by a signal light on the west entrance, as well as a non-signal exit on the east side of the parking lot. This example of Ingles offers convenience, decent pricing, a good atmo, 24-hour service, helpful employees, and carts with four rolling wheels. All in all, an above average experience for the harried shopper!
