MP Nails Studio

This is the greatest nail salon I’ve ever been to. I originally came in because I bought a Groupon, and I haven’t been anywhere since.
Most places guarantee that your gel manicure will last 10 days, but I’ve never had a manicure from here ever start to chip or peel! I always go back in about every 2.5−3 weeks just because it’s grown out a bit.
They are always so sweet and get me right in, and my nails always look fantastic!

The employees were so incredibly rude when I tried to schedule an appointment. I even came in for clarification and they seemed incredibly annoyed that I asked for an appointment that day at anytime when the salon was completely empty. There are much better salon options in Powell.

I just have to say I got the best gel manicure I have ever had! On March 23^rd I went in after getting my hair done next door… I believe the lady who did my manicure was possibly the owner. I felt comfortable and relaxed as she did the most thorough job of any nail tech I’ve ever had. I just have to say that today, almost 2 weeks later my nails are looking great! I haven’t had any polish peel up or chip– and I must add that I’m very hard on my nails (i work in food service and last week I happened to be on vacation and restored my homes 90 year old windows without any gloves on… My nails still look beautiful!!!) I will be going back for sure and I’m so pleased with my nails that I may make this a regular thing versus for special occasions only!

I bought Groupons for me and my step-​daughter as a birthday present to her. It was such a great deal for the 2 gel manicures and spa pedicures since I get mani pedis often. I already have a ScheduleCity account for another place that I used to frequent, but they are no longer in business so I was really excited to find this place so close to home. As I was scheduling, I didn’t see where there were special appts for Groupons only, so I booked a full price gel mani and spa pedi for this Friday and as a courtesy, I sent a PM to this facebook page letting them know ahead of time. I did get a response back letting me know that Groupons are only to be used Sun-​Thurs so I changed my appt to accommodate the restricted time. Since my Groupon was for 2 sessions, I also let them know that I will be scheduling my next one in June, but the dates didn’t go out that far. I received a response back stating it would be a mani only because the Groupon was for 2 manis and 1 pedi. I simply questioned this because of how the Groupon was worded (2 gel manicures and spa pedicures) making it look like 2 pedis as well. MP Nails Studio then told me that Groupon was at fault and the cost is too low for 4 services and to contact them for a refund. I actually sent a response stating that the price for the services were fair, even if it is 1 pedi, right before the comment recommending me to get a refund. I told them to cancel my appt and I will do just that, get my refund from Groupon. I am highly disappointed as a new customer because I really think my step-​daughter would have liked this place since I see lots of pictures of nail art. It would have been fun for her. They just lost a good customer in me and the many I would have brought to MP Nails Studio.

Bought the groupon, ended up not even using it. It took me two weeks to schedule an appointment. When I finally was able to schedule one, they told me they would NOT accept my groupon due to the fact that what was written did not match what services they would provide. The groupon said «Two gel manicures and spa pedicures» which, based on the grammar, I interpreted as two manicures and two pedicures. However, after speaking with the associate I was told that was incorrect and it was meant to be «two gel manicures and spa pedicure». If I wanted to receive two pedicures I would have to PAY additional money. I understand that this is a new business however based on my experience I believe they have no goodwill. In my opinion, if they couldn’t be bothered to proofread their groupon ad, their spa services would also reflect their lack of attention to detail.

Was told that there was a mistake that groupon made and the deal is really for two gel manis and one pedi– no big deal. They offered for me to refund it. Let’s be realistic, they aren’t making anything off the deal and are new and trying to bring in business. They are tucked away a bit so I hope people start generating interest by word of mouth.
They wrote me a gift certificate to come back for my second gel mani. They stayed open late to accommodate a later appt for my sister and I and Tracy did a fast job – in a good way– I can’t remember the last time I had such a good looking mani and pedi and I get them often. I bite my nails and they did wonders on my cuticles. They also have excellent color choices. They are wonderful, friendly people and I can’t wait to come back.

Tracy is extraordinary & has a wonderful personality! Her work is beautiful & she has great attention to detail! She always makes me feel relaxed and comfortable while I’m getting the best nail service. Putting your nails in Tracy’s hands is experience that is exceptional as well as unforgettable.
