I came to Geisha when it first opened up. Since then I’ve came back here 4 times. By far one of the best sushi restaurants out their. The Hibachi Style Steak is stupid good must try for anyone. The East Coast Rolls also is a must. Not to mention Geisha had Abita Strawberry on draft before it even hit the stores. That right there is a 5 star.

First off, the place is very clean inside and ambiance is very comfortable yet modern and classy. Our server was very attentive, on top every time we needed something. The food was great. Had the blackened tuna tataki as an appetizer. Amazing. We then had the Fat Tuesday and sunset roll, both excellent! Check this place out, you’ll enjoy it.

Geisha ‘sushi with a flair’ is by far one of the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to. The Prairieville location is their second location. The atmosphere is great, service is excellent, and food is perfection. For appetizer, we had the coconut shrimp, baked salmon, tuna tataki, and their special fried crabstick salad. Everything was delicious esp. their fried crabstick salad. It is not like any other ‘salads’ you’ve ever had. It’s a MUST try! For our entrees, we had a variety of rolls including the Famous Marilynn Monroll, Sumo Roll, Summer Snow Roll, Aloha Roll, The Big Boy’s Roll and a few other nigiri. Everything was fresh and well made. Not stuffed with too much rice(like some places out there) but just enough and also topped will homemade sauces. We had a few specials from the chefs. The Salmon Sashimi with Truffle Oil and Yellowtail with Jalapeños are so lite and refreshing. The homemade special sauces were so well made and flavorful. With all being said Geisha ‘sushi with a flair’ is by far one of the best sushi restaurants in the Baton Rouge/Prairieville/Denham Springs area. You gotta try it for yourself to believe it! It’s the real deal!

Denham springs location was good but Prairieville is popping! Chef salad was awesome! The fried crabstick reminds me of shrimp crackers and the whole salad experience was like eating Vietnamese goi. Salmon skin handroll is a must. Usually found topped in a salad but the handroll is built to be for a couple bites! Eel nigiri and the uni shooters was just explosions on my tastebuds. Eel nigiri was super savory while the uni and quail egg was flavor explosion. Hamachi Kama is always perfectly done right. I believe if you never had a good hamachi Geisha would set the bar. It’s that good no doubt. Sashimi dinner paired with more uni and waygu topped with foie gras. If anyone is paying attention Geisha is setting the bar with their fish quality. No gimmicks real deal sushi grade. Uni was still awesome as usual from the first bite but this time just juiced with lemon. Lastly the wagyu and foie gras was icing on the cake. I think they call that experience umami. In conclusion I don’t make reviews often but Geisha is one to be recognized. Stop by and judge for yourself. Good people and good vibes!

This place is very clean and the service is pretty good. I’ve only been here twice but I am really impressed. They picked a great location because there is not many sushi choices on this side of town. The menu has a variety of everything but it is still simple which is what I like. The server we had last night helped us pick out our rolls! I told him what I liked and he gave me advice and I absolutely loved my roll! I’m a tuna fan so I got the sumo roll. There wasn’t a roll on the menu that made my mom happy. She chose one and they were out of the main fish on the roll. The server offered a off the menu option and she loved it. The drinks are great. Tiramisu drink was my favorite. But I am not really a fan of their cheesecake. It tastes like a lemon cake to me. But my mom loved it

First time here and was not disappointed. Food took a little longer than expected but it was worth it. Seaweed salad was great and the Marilyn Monroll(hehe) was the winner of the night. We also had Mr. Fuji roll & the Fat Tuesday roll along with our spicy tuna staple. All were delicious. Will be back.

Love their food. They have such a great variety and don’t just focus on sushi. They have a wide range of appetizers, from the beef tataki to the gyoza dumplings. I am a sucker for their gyoza dumplings… deep fried of course. Their entrees are served in plentiful portions. The eel donburi was divine. Nice and smokey, good amount of rice, an abundance of eel, just delicious. My favorite sushi roll is the sumo roll, it’s spicy so be prepared. After eating all that… if you still have room, go for the fried ice cream. It comes out quickly and is a perfect way to round out your feast.

This is the second location for the Geisha Sushi With a Flair in Denham Springs. It’s brand new and huge! There’s a boxed off corner near the bathrooms-ish that has a wall of booth and movable tables and chairs on the opposite side. So it’s perfect for large parties. I came with 6 adults and 2 babies and it was perfect! The service was great — surprising for a brand new restaurant. The hostesses were sweet. And the sushi chefs did an amazing job. We ordered two gyozas, two Apple salads, two beef tatakis, two green mussels, the rainbow roll, two lagniappe rolls, and a naruto roll. It was all DELICIOUS! I will definitely be coming back again and again and again. I love that a second location did not jeopardize the reputation the original location has already built for itself.
