Basilwood Farm

I became acquainted with Basilwood through social media having read about their soaps on Facebook and seeing the photos of the farm and goats on Instagram. A friend gifted me with a few bars of Basilwood goat milk soap. The quality is so high.
This week I got to visit the farm and meet Jill and some of her goats. My small grandchildren loved it and enjoyed picking out their own soaps. So much variety from which to choose.
Should you wish to visit in person, the farm is only open to the public on Tuesdays from 10 am to 2 pm.

What can I possibly say about Basilwood Farm that will even do them justice? This family welcomes you in with open arms and treats you like you’ve known them all of your life. If you get a chance to make the beautiful drive up to the Farm on Tuesdays, it is absolutely a once in a lifetime experience. Not only do you get to tour the farm, but you are greeted with loving goat hugs and kisses! Let me tell you, snuggling with a baby goat is like nothing you will ever do in the city! There is definitely something to be said about the power a baby goat can have on your heartstrings! I swear, I could watch them for DAYS! It never gets old! Goat-​therapy should be the new fad! It is actually impossible to leave this place without a smile across your face.
As for their amazing products, I have tried every kind of moisturizing soap on the market and nothing makes my skin feel this good. I should say that I have very sensitive skin and am allergic to many cosmetic products, but I’ve been using Basilwood soaps for months now and never had any kind of reaction! All of their goat’s milk products are natural and won’t leave a slimy feeling on your skin like most others do. I absolutely love the citrus-​y scented products, but my love for them doesn’t stop there! I have tried their lotions, creams, bars, and scrubs; all of which were amazing!
I simply cannot say enough good things about this amazing family and what they have accomplished with these loving critters! Basilwood Farm is an amazing way to support a local business and I would recommend their products to EVERYONE!

Basilwood Farm. What a delightful place! Amazing products that are such a sigh of relief in the chemical laden world of beauty products. If you have a chance to go to the Farm you will be greeted by the adorable goats that are milked to make these all-​natural items for your beauty regimen. The soaps are beautiful and make wonderful gifts. Luckily items are sold in various shops if you can’t make it to the Farm. Such a great way to buy local!

Basilwood Farm makes the best bath products on the planet. Made from all natural ingredients you will fall in love immediately. I’ve purchased the soaps, body creams, laundry soap and body scrubs. The boutique is open on Tuesday’s which is a must experience. I enjoyed a tour of the soap room and held one of the many goats onsite. I can not say enough about Basilwood Farm!
