Bulwark Exterminating

My new home had not been occupied for a few months when I moved in. The first night in my house, a scorpion in the hallway. As time went on, more than a few spiders. A week later my son visited and saw another scorpion in the hall.
A Bulwark gentlemen coincidentally came to my door, soon after the sighting of the second scorpion, selling their services. I generally don’t have much to do with unsolicited attempts to sell, but this guy was different. Pleasant, professional appearance, very knowledgeable and not pushy. He made me a written offer and that was it, it was up to me to call. Which I did about a week later and signed up for the annual plan.
Long story short… they came out and did an Excellent job with great results. My pest problem was done in short order and I live on an acre lot with natural vegetation.
But here’s the cherry on the sundae and tells you all you need to know about these folks… a few weeks after the initial treatment I discovered the hard way that I had a bee problem. They had burrowed a hive in the ground. I called Bulwark and they scheduled a «follow-​up» visit to take care of the bees no charge. Being impatient, I went to True Value and bought a can of bee spray and thought I «took care» of the problem. Called Bulwark and said «No need to come out.» The rep said, «No we’d like to come out to make sure all is OK. No charge.»
Well he came the next day and sure enough the problem was much bigger than I thought and he took care of the bees.
So Bulwark cared about the customer so much, they went against my advice and came out, for free as part of my package and solved my problem. You don’t often see that level of customer care anymore.
Also a point to note, Scott, the young man who completed the work, was excellent and professional.

I called Bulwark Exterminating after I was told by another exterminating company that they would not treat the yard more than 3 feet from the perimeter of my house… Bulwark Exterminating quickly returned my call and even made arrangements to come out same day so I wouldn’t have to take off any more work.
