Super 8 Prescott Valley

I just had the worst experience with
but this Super 8 was excellent! I booked through Expedia for the first time and they booked me in a different town 70 miles away! They only gave me a refund after calling and talking to this location. I am so happy with this customer service! If I’m ever staying around this location I will book here! Thank you for helping me out of a bad situation!

Wow, absolutely the worst customer service I could ever imagine! The front desk clerk (I didn’t get her name, but she had tattoos on her neck) was so unbelievably unhelpful and rude. We checked in with a service dog, and then once we were an hour away we got a phone call from saying that we had to check out because of the dog (which is illegal btw). We were an hour away and had to drive back to the hotel to check out. She refused to help us in any way. She did not refund us, move us to another hotel, or give us hotel credit even though we didn’t get to use the room for over an hour. When I asked to speak to her manager she lied to my face and said he wasn’t available… even though she just finished talking to him on the phone. terrible, unfair customer service.

Slow check in and rough hotel. Not my first choice.

Clean. Mostly. In the beginning stages of remodel. Much needed. Chairs and carpet so stained, we put the paper thin towels on the chairs and never walked barefoot. Did have promised amenities; refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, ironing board. Particle board furniture. Motel 6 style.

Do I have to give it any stars? I guess this is what is to be expected with a Super 8. Outdated, dingy, thin walls… But the vacuuming at 8 a.m., constant smell of smoke, super flat pillows, barly there blankets. I think I would stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites next time. Sorry Super 8, I know you are super cheap but…

as you would expect for a Super 8 with the exception of towels and toilet paper. Both were rough enough to exfoliate yourself inside and out. Come on now you can do better than that.

My wife and I spent the night at the Super 8 in Cottonwood. The best thing I can say is that once you’re asleep, all hotel rooms look the same. The door from our room to the parking lot didn’t have a seal across the bottom. Being Arizona with it’s share of 6, 8 and no-​legged varmints, my wife stuffed a bath towel under the door to ensure the varmints were at least slowed down. We didn’t expect much, booking the room because it was inexpensive … and the Super 8 met those low expectations. No major disappointments (except for the door) … but no pleasant surprises, either,
