This is a great little sushi place! We love the double shrimp and lava rolls. Anyone who is complaining about the sushi here is out of their minds – it’s delicious, and the staff are the sweetest people. This sushi is FAR superior to Frys sushi(that’s just ridiculous to say frys sushi is better than fresh made!)

we ordered the Dragon roll, Poke roll, Tuna roll and Tamago. All the food we had was very delicious especially the dragon roll. Having had quite a variety of Japanese cuisine this place has very good sushi. We took our order as a take out order it was still very good by the time we got to our hotel room 5 miles away.

Very nice owners. Everything is amazingly fresh. Wonderful place to go. I usually get the avocado roll and salmon nigiri. Occasionally I get the tempura udon and inari set.

Succinctly C+. Ordered Poke roll, only poke fish and avocado and rice… That’s it. It’s supposed to be seasoned yummy and have a sauce. Ordered a crunch roll. Not bad, but not good either. Bland for a classic roll made on sushi spots across the world. Ordered a California roll, dry and flavorless just like gas station sushi. Ordered a shrimp tempura roll. All it had was shrimp tempura with a drizzle of soy sauce wrapped in rice and the seaweed. The wasabi. Probably the weakest wasabi in Arizona, California and Nevada. The sushi rolls at Frys are superior. Go there or Flagstaff

Wow, this has got to be THE.worst.sushi. I have EVER had. Why would anyone ever recommend this place? Okay, It wasn’t all horrendous, and I’m trying to be fair in my review. To begin the edamame was okay, boiled just right. The egg roll was hot and good, heard the owner say it is bought from a vendor, so it makes sense why is was the only decent thing in this joint. The miso was bland, I’ve had worse though. However It all went downhill once the sushi came out. We ordered the Cali Roll, Crunch Roll, Poke Roll, and Tempura Roll. The Cali roll was a cut piece of imitation crab and avocado, like nothing else was in it, where is the cucumber, why didn’t the imitation crab have the mayo in it? We ate two pieces and left the rest. So gross. Then the Poke roll wasn’t seasoned or have any of the sauce at all. I’ve had authentic poke and I just couldn’t finish it because of the disappointment in my heart. Gross. Tempura roll was just that, just shrimp tempura in a roll with drizzle of sauce. WTF The crunch roll was the only average roll of the bunch, the only one we actually finished. That and two can of sodas will cost you around $ 50.

Just for those who really like Japanese food. Justin(owner) and his wife Noriko make the best udon, sushi and rolls in the area. Sushi j, Arigato.

I stopped by here on my last visit to Prescott Valley and I would eat here again. Definitely not the worst sushi I’ve had but in fairness, also not the best. But given that this place is far away from the ocean, I really enjoyed the sushi that was prepared. Justin and his wife are a very nice, friendly couple. While I was there, several repeat customers came in obviously liking the food. For me, the spicy tuna roll was good and the sushi assortment plate was pretty good. I enjoyed the miso soup as well. I thought the prices were fair and i would definitely come back on my next visit to the area.

Probably the worst sushi I’ve ever had. Not sure why this place gets so many good reviews to be 100% honest. The only roll that I got that was decent was the shrimp tempura roll. The California roll and spicy crab roll were all super low quality, and I’m pretty sure the crab was artificial. Every roll was loose and fell apart when trying to pick them up. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the staff was nice.

had the chirashi bowl which had lots of fish and everything was fresh there isn’t much seating, so it is better to get the items to go

Owners are awesome. Very friendly. Good food, and good size portions. We ordered Philadelphia roll, tempura, chicken teriyaki bowl and edamame — all made to order and really good.

Best restaurant in Prescott Valley. Sushi Moro combo rocks. That little Asian chick in there rocks it. I come here all the time.

At first we were a little worried because we didn’t see any other customers there and the place seemed a little«fast foodish.» However, we were pleasantly surprised at the freshness and quality of the food. We ordered a variety of rolls and appetizers as well as the tempura vegetables. Everything was absolutely amazing. We all loved it! I would highly recommend it to everyone! Only drawback is there isn’t a real big food selection outside of sushi.

Delicious! Wife and I ordered 4 rolls, all delicious! But the Lava roll w/spicy tuna and the Rainbow were the best. Nothing too fancy inside, only two small tables. But we were lucky enough to find an open one and enjoy our lunch inside. FYI no alcohol served.

GREAT customer service! Walked in and was greeted immediately and cheerfully. The owner is extremely nice and friendly, we had a great talk! The food was awesome! I usually can’t finish an entire roll but I had the miso soup, edamame and the entire roll. Great food! Thanks for the conversation and experience as a whole!

Great quality sushi. Made to order. We order a couple different rolls such as caterpillar roll, lava roll, dynamite roll… Fresh taste and great texture. We ordered to-go and quick turn around. There were a couple small tables in the restaurant, but it’s more suited to pick up and go. Have tried a couple different sushi places in Prescott and this one holds its own! Will definitely come back!
