Americas Best Value Inn & Suites

I stayed at this motel during a trip from Wisconsin to Houston. I was exhausted and didn’t think I could make it 50 more miles to Texarkana. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and the room cost was minimal ($ 55).
I wish I would’ve gone the extra 50 miles. The motel was safe and in a mostly quiet area, but the room was disgusting. The carpet and the fabric on the chairs was stained, and I did a bedbug check before bringing in my things. The room was so rundown and gross that I slept in my full clothes on top of the bedspread and even then wish I would’ve had something to put down first.
The good part is there was a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot in the room. There’s also free wifi with a strong signal.
I wouldn’t stay here again and I’m sure there are nicer hotels in Texarkana.
