Outstanding selection of firearms, fairly priced. LOTS of ammunition during a time when most places have none. VERY helpful and knowledgeable staff.
I can’t stand Obama, but sadly I heard zero negative comments about him, everyone was very professional and focussed on business related issues, not political nonsense.

Alright, I have mixed feelings about High Country.
First, the important part: they have a wide selection of guns and ammo, most of it very reasonably priced, and they know their stuff. Bought a Remington shotgun and a Ruger ¹⁰⁄₂₂ here the other day, both on the recommendations of staff. Was in and out in less than half an hour and am very happy with the process. I’ve visited a few times, and they’ve always been very patient with questions and info, even with people who clearly aren’t ready to buy a firearm.
However, as another reviewer noted, they are VERY partisan here, which isn’t unexpected in a gun store. You’ll find bumper stickers and cartoons belittling President Obama all over the store, and while I’ve not heard the staff speak about the President, I do feel a little uncomfortable shopping here sometimes. I know most of their clientele would likely agree with their political views, but for those of us that don’t, making us feel kind of unwelcome is probably a bad call.
Still, the prices are right, the staff has always been professional when we’ve visited, and they know their weapons. That’s far more important to me than their political views.

I don’t like to give a small business a bad review. And I will say that this place does have a diverse and interesting collection of guns, and they guy definitely knew his stuff. But I was totally shocked to hear the guy behind the counter loudly and clearly call Barrack Obama a n***r (the N word) in conversation with another customer. Whether you like the president or hate him, this kind of old fashioned racism is exactly the kind of backwards redneck behavior that gives us gun owners and 2^nd amendment supporters a bad name. I recommend not shopping there for that reason.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my new KIMBER! Hubby also purchased a pretty bad ass rifle there! They have a great selection of weapons!

I was in Prescott for work and stopped by this place during a break. Walking in brought tears to my eyes; partly from sheer joy and partly from deep sadness. AR-​15s, hi-​cap magazines, and sweet-​baby-​jesus, a Sig 556… *sighs* Guns I’ve always dreamed of owning, but am not able to because I live in a Communist state, Commiefornia.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for great customer service and decent selection.
If Commiefornia ever gives it’s citizens the 2^nd Amendment Constitutional Right back, I’ll take my business here.
