Worst customer service I have EVER experienced and worst review I have ever posted!
I called Kevin when I first moved to Prescott. I have a white sofa and love seat that needed re-​freshening after my move from California. Kevin said he would be at my home at 8 am the next morning and hung up on me. He quoted me 4x the amount of money that I have ever paid. $ 850 for a job that has always cost $ 125-​$ 200 I could buy a new couch for his price. I’ve used many carpet and upholstery cleaners as «upkeep» over the years in multiple states on a regular basis, so I have an idea. After speaking with him about the mildness of the Job and that I would have things prepped, he was awful to me– no explanations either and I am a very easy going person. I let him know money wasn’t an issue, I just wanted a fair price and asked him to stop by at the aforementioned time to check things out, price them from there, and I would pay it. He never showed. Just sent me a series of nasty texts prior. He was treating me like I was some neurotic person trying to barter with him and like it was an insult just to clarify a price or for him to see the job and was just awful. I like honest folks who are in and out. I’ll pay whatever for a good job. No frills, no fuss. But I also do my research and I can now say to avoid this company.
Kevin: I’m not sure if you were having a bad day, or your customer service skills and patience need work. Word to the wise– if someone genuinely wants to pay you for your services as a professional businessperson, please don’t treat them as disrespectfully as you did me. I hope you find that balance in future endeavors.

I’m finally getting around to writing this review… long overdue! Kevin did a fantastic job cleaning our tile and carpet! We were getting ready to move into our home and thought we needed to get the floors and carpet cleaned while it was empty. He showed up as promised and spent extra time making sure all was spotless. The price was right too! Make Key Carpet your first choice, look no further!
