Stopped here on my drive back to the Twin Cities to get apples, etc. but made my way up to the café for coffee. Had an amazingly good cappuccino, and bought the best apple pie I have EVER tasted to bring home. Pumpkin bread, too! Nice people, great food. Wish I lived closer!

I had high expectations of the Oasis and for the most part they delivered. My husband and I each had the Sunday brunch. For $ 13.95 we each chose an entrée and a slice of pumpkin pie. I had the beef pot pie and my husband had the egg bake. Overall, the food could use more flavor, but the concept of everything was great. As far as presentation goes, it was lovely. The servers were all very nice, but it’s a family run establishment and I expected as much. The pace was slow(they were running shorthanded) but nothing to complain about. I would definitely go back… they have a fish boil on Fridays that has peaked my attention.

A great 40 minute escape from the hustle and bustle of the Twin Cities. We visited on a Saturday and enjoyed our lunch outside. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious and the iced coffee was so good my boyfriend ordered his own(he never drinks coffee). We even had a friendly farm cat hang out at our table hoping for some scraps to drop. The staff was very inviting and chatted with us for a bit. We plan on going back for their Friday night fish fry!

I am still having dreams about my pulled pork sandwich. It was that good. So worth the drive from Red Wing. They use local foods and meats so it helps to call ahead to see what’s on the menu and for reservations. Beautiful and scenic outdoor eating space and quaint vacation like feel inside. Yum!

I wish I could give a glowing review for both the Oasis Eatery and the Nursery. Unfortunately I found hair from the cook in both my potatoes and pulled pork. He has long curly grayish hair, Mmm delicious in my food. Other then the hair, the food tasted awesome. Maybe some hair nets could fix this place right up. As for the Nursery, they have great 10 – 12 foot trees. The price is pretty steep though. I paid $ 120 for my 12ft tree. Crazy expensive. I usually pay $ 85 for the same thing. Oh well now I know better.

We swung by Nesbitt’s the other day just kind of to check it out. It’s not big, but the people there are friendly and it’s got a really nice homey vibe. We shopped the little store and picked up some fresh apples, some caramel apples(yum!) and some creamed honey. Prices were a tad bit on the steep side, but we were happy to try it out and get some local treats. I saw that they also serve a small breakfast/brunch menu, which was clearly why most folks were there. The people seemed a bit harried with a full house, but I was glad to see so many people patronizing such a nice local business. Sure we will be back to try the food.

I was on my bike ride to Red Wing, MN and I was running low on water. I was hesitant to stop in, but I am glad I did. I purchased a beverage, filled my water bottle, used the restroom and met the owners. I looked at the pies and I will return again to sample. The owners are super friendly and they are«biker friendly».

A great place to get a Christmas tree! Fresh locally grown. The staff and owners are super friendly. Great place for kids. We’ll definitely be back.

These guys are truly great. We used them as a pit stop on an 80 mile bike training ride. They were closed at 4 but when our riders showed up late they opened back up and gave us free water and kept open until our last rider was through(5:30). It’s a family owned shop. They have some of the best pie I have ever had. They are also a family of cyclists and really care about the people they serve. i will stop there again. You should check them out.
