I can’t believe that no one has reviewed the Prescott Rodeo Grounds! Any how, my fiancé were here last weekend for the Rock N 2 Remember tribute concert in tribute to the fallen Yarnell Hill firefighters. This was a great cause and one of the best guitarists of all time, Slash was performing. We got to the Rodeo Grounds pretty early around 6:30pm and the first few performers were on stage. The Rodeo Grounds are out in the middle of no where which was to be expected but we had to park in the grass which was extremely muddy due to rain all day. I was a little disappointed at how small the stage was but I guess seeing Slash in such a small venue performing some of his biggest hits from GNR was better in some was on this small stage. We got decent seats up the middle section of the bleachers. There are about 10 rows of bleachers, about 6 to seven rows high. They had port a potty’s set up on one side but I was thrilled to find out that they do have full service bathrooms at the back of the rodeo grounds. These bathrooms were kept very clean all night which I was happily surprised by. I am sure that the rodeo grounds host a variety of events year round so depending on what you go see here your experience may be different. Just take it for what it is, rodeo grounds in the middle of a dirt lot. Wear your cowboy boots and jeans and be prepared to get dirty! Have a good time and enjoy life!
