I have watched this store grow for many years while on
vacation in Prescott twice a year for the last 15 years.
Now that I have lived here for 3+ years, I’m amazed at how
high class it has become. I rarely need to go anywhere else
except for lumber. Keep it up guys!

How do they compete with big box stores and discount prices?
Very good selection, hard to find items, cool specialty stuff, and lots of knowledgeable staff that are readily available helpful and super friendly. Store is well laid out, easy to transverse, and doesn’t require hiking boots and a full canteen to make it from one end to the other.
Not the lowest prices anywhere, but reasonable, and worth it. Lots of great sale prices deliver great overall true value. (Did I just actually write that???)
And you though places like this went extinct in the 70’s

I regard friendly prompt service HIGHLY and they certainly do provide! They greet you with a genuine smile and they show you to whatever it is you need! I find them helpful each time I visit.

too bad that prescott doesnt have an old fashioned mercantile or general store That would be eally cool — True Value is a nationwide chain that has a limited selection, way too much packaging, little of substance and VERY high prices. They have no connection to our region & about 1⁄3 of their products are cheap crap from China.
The only other choice — Lowe’s!

I LOVE this store! It is always a great experience to shop here. You are actually treated like a VALUED customer. Their prices are a bit higher, but the convenience, friendliness and service are well worth the extra.
