The young girls working the floor and register are awesome, but the managers are the worse!!! They never have the customers best interest in mind, can never answer questions, can never plain help you!!! I’ve had 2 horrible incidents in there where I walked out of there furious and frustrated!!!

This store is dilapidated, maybe last overhaul was in 1983? Dirty, cramped, aisles between racks of clothing are only able to be navigated through if you are 70lbs or less. The staff is strange — they are either always standing in the middle of an aisle in your way and don’t budge or they are running you over trying to get to another part of the store. Dressing rooms are nasty — old office carpeting with a visible inch of dust all the way around perimeter, holes in the ceilings. Oddly, a lof of the athletic stuff is designed for fans, not true athletes. I didn’t buy anything here — I was a bit skeezed out and no one was really friendly. It made me fearful of the return policy

Tired store with marginal service but with lots of branded local product including a decent selection representing local colleges. It’s definitely assorted more for the fan than the athlete as it has very limited selection of performance equipment outside of a few sports. During a recent visit I was only able to find one pair of men’s running shorts in my size.

These guys are huge and they get the job done. If you need branded sports apparel this is the place to go. This is a big chain. There are almost 150 locations mostly on the east coast.
As you might expect most of the gear is for the local teams at both the national and college level. This is a big store so the chances of finding what you want in your size are really decent. They also have a big online presence.
When I buy I don’t want the crappy knock off junk. I want good quality stuff and that is what these guys carry. I found there prices to be in line for the top level gear. This is my first stop when I need more sports clothing.
Be warned; when something big is happening like the Phillies in the World Series this place goes absolutely crazy!

Although I live in Texas this location is close to my parents home in suburban Philly so this is where I come to load up on Eagles and Phillies gear (yeah, I’m still a loyal fan).
They keep an ample supply of stock even during the offseason of each teams sport so I’m still able to find what I want. The employees are helpful and friendly & the prices are reasonable. This is my favorite Philly area sporting goods store.
My reasoning for not giving it 5-​stars? Just wish they had more college stuff (ie.Temple, Penn, Penn State… etc). Then again, they very well may keep a good selection, but since I only visit 2 – 3 x’s a year it could just be bad timing on my part. I ggt that.
