Scally’s Auto Repair

These guys are great! My parents have been using them for the past 2 years and they’ve done great work and never took them over. For instance, my moms headlight was developing some moisture problems. Dealer would install a new light fixture for $ 300. Scallys said they would simply drill a drainage hole in the light and let it clear out. Saved my mom a lot of money. Driving home this weekend from VA I noticed a shimmy in the wheel of my car was getting worse, especially when braking. Didn’t want to drive on I-​95 with that issue. Parents recommended I bring it by Scally shop since I was home for 3 days. I dropped the day after Thanksgiving and they were able to complete the work on it that day! Did repair/​replacement of rear brakes and rotors, resurfaced the front rotors, fixed an exhaust hangar, oil change, all for $ 400. Compared to prices in the DC area, this was great! If I have an other major repairs I will def give them a ring, might pay to make the trip back up to PA.

It’s hard to find a reliable mechanic. Luckily, I found one at Scally’s. I started going to them when they were located on Baltimore and Springfield, but now they moved near the Giant in Aldan but they are still in the area. Scally’s never rips me off and helped me out in so many binds. When I had a flat tire, they fixed it immediately without making me wait. When I was in Japan and someone broke my car window, they replaced the window and stored my car in their garage until I came back from my trip. They do my oil changes, yearly inspections, and any other issues that I need with my car. Their prices are very fair and they treat you well.
