Reserved and paid in advance for 2 dozen large males for Father’s Day. Wanted to support a local business, and a Veterans business, as my boyfriend is retired after 23 years in the Army. I was pleased with their customer service, they explained that large would be 5 ¼ minimum. Fine, I thought. Just wanted to make his day stress-free. Should have asked number #1 or #2. Picked them up on time, still very happy. Did not look in the bag. Once we got home, my boyfriend asked what I had ordered, when I told him«large» he said he wished he had looked at the crabs when we picked them up. Not large, most were barely legal. They were cooked perfect and full, but I wish the supplier had told me they were on the small size. I understand you cannot guarantee what will be caught, but I would have appreciated the honesty, perhaps a small credit would have bought some loyalty. Now, unfortunately, there is a local business I will not recommend in the future.(This original review was placed on June 21, 2015.) ** About 6 days ago, I was contacted via private message to remove my review, which I refused to do.
