After a full year of pain and PT I was pretty frustrated. Not only is my lifestyle active, but as a dancer and Pilates instructor I rely on my body for my work. I came to Red Cord on the advice of a friend who is also active, but I was not too hopeful after all the PT I had been through. I worked with Jason at ActivCore for three weeks, six appointments) and I was pain free. After a few months of this, I can tell you I am not only pain free but I am able to do things I was not able to do in many many years. Jason is amazing, professional and focused. He understood not only my medical issues but my personal goals… I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I am with both the Red Cord method, and with the staff. Knowledgeable and caring. The Red Cord method not only helps to strengthen the area affected, but all of the muscles and support systems of the body as a whole. I feel more integrated when I leave then when I do a myriad of other forms of exercise. SOLD.

I had suffered from lower back pain for a few years .I had significant pain putting on shoes and socks. Chiropractic gave me temporary relief. «Conventional rehab didn’t work too well either so I tried the Red Cord approach with Bryan C at ActivCore. After a few months I was pain free and have maintained that condition for more than a year with two or three«tune up» sessions. I then started a Pilates program with Jamie K at ActivCore with my wife and we both feel better for it. Stamina strength and balance have improved. The staff are all graduate degreed pleasant and helpful and give you 100 percent of their attention during the one hour sessions

Activecore and all my friends that work there, you have literally saved my life! Living in pain everyday from a failed Cervical Fusion is far from a day at the beach! If it wasn’t for their help and buying Redcord, which I have set up in a one bedroom apartment. You have to own the miracle equipment! There is not a client that walks out of my massage practice, Gotcher’ Back Massage in Princeton, that doesn’t walk out knowing about these great people and their ability to get you well and back on you feet functioning! This is the only Physical Therapy group I recommend and I am a very hard sell! Thank you Activecore for being part of my life and making my PT experience not only lesson my pain but you make it fun! Love all of you, Suzanne Newman

After two years of pain and physical therapy I had a spinal fusion and came here. I an pain free and walk stairs. I have worked with all the therapists and learned from all of them. Everyone has been patient with this senior and my thanks go out to all of you. The one on one attention has kept me focused. At other places they hooked me up to a variety of vibrators while working on other patients. At one prominent place with an appointment I found two other people in my «private session.» Neurac has better educated and compassionate therapists that I have every run into.

I had shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum five weeks ago. I started therapy with Nick last week and so far have had just four sessions. Last week when I came out of the sling I had extremely limited range of motion. Fast forward to today(again, just a week and a half later): I have nearly full range of motion regained and am beginning to regain strength. Unlike traditional PT sessions, your hour with the physical therapist is 100% one-on-one. There is no rotating between patients: the attention is all on you. This is incredibly beneficial in terms of maximizing gains during the session. While the method itself may seem a little unconventional, the technique isn’t all that different than TRX/suspension training. It’s pretty cool — the bungees serve to help you control your own bodyweight, allowing for progression as you get stronger. It’s almost like a «floating in air» sensation. As you get stronger, the resistance is decreased and the therapist will create more instability(they can shake the bungees in a controlled manner to force you to activate stabilizing muscles). You can say I’m drinking the Kool-Aid on this. However, I have done conventional physical therapy in the past(not for my shoulder but for a torn achilles) and I feel as though the gains made were lesser and slower to come. Controlled instability not only improves strength and range of motion for the affected injured area, but strengthens the supporting muscles as well. This is key for accelerating recovery and preventing re-injury. The therapists are great people to boot. I have Nick and I really enjoy talking to him. The other folks are awesome as well. **Note: they do not accept insurance. However, they will submit claims on your behalf. They even contacted my insurance company for me prior to me signing up so I would know my benefits before I got started.**

This is a fantastic place for physical therapy. It beats any other practice due to its unique treatment methods. They use Redcord, a suspension system which allows for painless reabilitation that works in a fraction of the time of any other methods. They find the root of the problem to help prevent it from reoccurring. Great place, highly recommend.
