We visited Princeton, KY for a wedding this past weekend and stayed at America’s Best Value Inn(one of the two hotels in the city). Four of us shared a room with 2 double beds and we each paid $ 17. The owners were very nice and accommodating when we checked in. The room itself was clean… we did mattress checks for bedbugs(look along seam-lines) and saw that they used mattress protectors! The sheets themselves seemed clean with a few washed-in stains, but we(not knowing what we’d find) had brought our own sheets, pillows, and blankets. The room had a TV, wifi, and a mini refrigerator, as well as an AC unit that worked very well on a 95 degree day! The bathroom was not in the best condition… there was definitely visible scum and grime in the caulking. Even though this motel is right off the highway, there is not a lot of noise at night from it since Princeton is a small town. There is a complimentary breakfast in the AM,(few options: biscuits, cereal, bananas). & there are also a few fast food places right down the road. ABVI is definitely not the Ritz, but for $ 17 each, we did not mind our stay here! If you are planning on using the shower, I’d suggest bringing shower shoes.

Had to come down here for a funeral and the owners were very kind to us. Room was clean. Price was fair. I think the other review is just a grumpy person lol

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The instant we got into the room I locked every lock and put a table in front of the door because the parking lot is extremely creepy. There was 6 channels, urine stains on our sheets, blood stains on two of our three towels, dead bugs on one of the pillows, gum stuck on the floor, no shampoo or condition, a broken microwave and fridge, and almost all of the outlets did not work. I left with a MUCH better understanding why I only paid $ 60 for the room. I would have much rather stayed in the American Horror Stories Hotel. There is no possible way this hotel functions more than as a prostitute station. If you are thinking about staying here drive 10 more miles to Paducah, KY.
