Actually… they get 5 stars in selection and 2 stars for customer service. It is a great store with a huge selection and always neat and well-placed, however, if you are not dressed, just right… forget it… they don’t even look at you. Seriously! It’s Ann Taylor… give me a break. First, nothing is worse than bad customer service and then pretentious customer service is the all-time worst. Get real… I’ve shopped all over the world and even the Prada store in Milan or in Paris wasn’t this ridiculous.

I fell in love with Ann Taylor when I was poor. Not that I’m wealthy now but I’m better able to afford the clothes. The staff in all the stores rock. They are super helpful and courteous. Regardless whether I drop in wearing sweats and glasses or whether I’m suited up after work. Freehold Ann Taylor is just as good. Ann Taylors in NYC can get busy and the staff not as helpful but that has never stopped me before. Their clothes are timeless and last forever. Their sales are awesome. All of that coupled with helpful sales staff and other than a good friend, what more could a woman ask for???

Good collection, large organized store, and friendly staff — what more can you ask for? Well, discounts! But that’s something I’ll have to write to HQ about ;)

Oh, Ann Taylor. If you’re female, young-ish, and living in this area, chances are that you’re here for work, and you’ll find yourself in need of work clothes. I bought my interview suit here, and then the corresponding business casual clothes for the job. This particular branch has a petites section as well as shoes, jewelry, and accessories, and a smörgåsbord of blouses, sweaters, skirts, shifts, cardigans, pants, and dresses. Perfect for relatively stylish work clothes for companies with a conservative edge. True, you’ll feel vaguely ridiculous shopping here alongside all the«hot moms» of Princeton(as my former co-worker and I once observed while shopping here after work), and you won’t get as much help from the workers here as they will, but at least you’ll be appropriately dressed in the office. Tip: The sales here are pretty amazing. I recall getting some merino wool sweaters and wool pants for $ 19.99 each during the off-season…
