Nice and clean little diner– we had basic breakfast foods– but very accommodating staff!

Who closes at 12 and is only open for breakfast on a Sunday? Aunt Judy’s Café. That’s who. I get that it’s a small town so maybe they have shorter hours and it’s a Sunday but I’ve never heard of a restaurant only being open until 12. Maybe 2 or 3 for breakfast and lunch, but not for breakfast only. After people go to Sunday church, don’t they like to go to lunch afterwards? Well if they wanted to, Aunt Judy’s wouldn’t have been an option… My gf and I had planned on making this our last stop in Princeton before heading back home. We pulled up at 12:05, and there was already a Closed sign on the door, with another sign next to it saying they were closing at 12 and were open for breakfast only. There were cars in the parking lot, but they must have been the lucky ones who made it in before the late hour of noon. Maybe she had a good reason for closing so early. Not sure if it’s the norm or not, but we were both very disappointed to see that they were already closed and since we were really not anticipating that being the case, I myself really don’t have any interest in going back there should I be in the area. I’m not a big enough breakfast person to have interest. Oh well. Their loss was our gain as we ended up going to a really good family owned and operated restaurant that we never would have discovered otherwise. Thank you, Aunt Judy!

Holy GOD the sausage patties! The sausage patties are pure heaven! The pancakes are perfect, the service is great(unless they’re slammed… which happens on flea market Saturdays, but it’s totally understandable and they’re very nice about it) and the people are super friendly. One of the best breakfasts in the area. FYI — cash only!
