I used to love this place. My colleague had a few others ordering their vegetable soup with shrimp. It’s usually so fresh and delicious; however today on my lunch break I stopped in, ordered my usual: Veggie Soup with Shrimp added, and I was annoyed that they were going to charge me .50 for my total being 7.54! They have a minimum of $ 8, but myself and my colleagues order from them SO much they would’ve waived it this one time. In any case, to avoid the «fee» I ordered a vegetable roll as well.
Got up to the office, ate my veggie roll, opened my soup and proceeded to eat. After I had eaten about 4 pieces of broccoli I started to notice something on the side of my soup cup. I nonchalantly took a look at the top for my soup container and there were BUGS in the container top, floating in my soup and on the side of my cup. Of course I was furious since I had already eaten some!
So angry I stopped what I was doing and went back to the food court. With steam practically coming from my ears I got to the line and the first thing that blurted out of my mouth, «I want to know why there are bugs in my soup?!» The woman at the register proceeded to get whom I assume is her boss and she took the soup into the kitchen. Approximately 2 mins later she come back out with I’m guess was the cook and the reason they gave me was because of the change in season and the vegetables. I think there’s a solution for that: Wash the damn veggies. This led me to believe that they are not the cleanest so I’m totally over this place.
They had the nerve to ask if I wanted another soup. I requested my money back instead. Please check your food before eating. So disappointed and so was everyone in my office because we liked their soup/​food.
