This is one of those that is tough to assign stars to. I was killing some time in Princeton, Indiana, and desperate for coffee. I found an adorable café. Closed. Everywhere they might conceivably have coffee… closed. I searched Unilocal and reset my GPS to drive a few towns over, when I spotted Donut Bank. My ‘stay away from sugar’ rule was out the window as soon as I stepped inside. It smelled like donuts of course, but the smell of donuts is a great smell indeed. I ended up with a coffee and a chocolate covered cinnamon roll(YEAH) and happily wasted a few hours away using their free wifi. It looked like a renovated Taco Bell, which was a strange feel for a coffee/donut place. The coffee was as good as any other normal coffee, and the donut wasn’t mind blowing but it was good. Would I pick this place over a little local joint? No. Did it rescue me and comfort me in my hour of need? Yes.
