GREATLUNCHPLACE This is an older restaurant off of downtown Princeton. Other than a little wear and tear, it is comfortable. A deep cleaning wouldn’t hurt :-) The buffet is awesome comfort food. Huge selection and huge amount. If you leave hungry it is your own fault. Don’t expect anything fancy. The menu options are just standard fare, but at a reasonable price. Bring the hungry kids! Fill em up cheap! The rustic décor is borderline cheesy, but cute. Old, but still workin’ . NOT A STEAKHOUSE

I feel generous actually. Brought a bunch of Boys here thinking it was a good idea because of variety on the hot and cold salad bar… My 3 yr old wouldn’t eat the Mac n cheese, my 6 yr old nephew said«it tastes like nothing!» The food was tasteless pretty much throughout. I only had the salad bar and felt ripped off at 7.99. The restaurant was practacally empty as we were there for an early dinner but it still seemed very cramped in the dining area and esp buffet/salad bar. I could see this a Great place if you were serving a large group of young kids and or old folks, that’s about it.

It’s an average small town diner. The staff were welcoming, but stressed. They threw our menus on the table and pointed it out to us. The décor is typical for small town semi-rural– cedar paneling everywhere, and pictures if animals everywhere. It’s a good sized place. There is an endless salad bar that looks less then amazing. The burgers were GOOD! We were surprised! The tomato bisque was decent too. We’d go back for the burger!

Sure the allyoucaneat salad bar may not have top of the line ingredients in it, but there’s plenty to choose from and who’s going to argue with a chocolate/vanilla/swirl ice cream sundae bar with multiple toppings? Not this girl! The bench seats in the booths have butt prints in them, that’s how long this little steak house has been around!

The Frontier steakhouse is pretty decent. They have good burgers and the salad bar is awesome. It’s true that you can get a decent steak here too although I would not consider this a «steakhouse» like the name states but you can actually get a decent steak here for considerably cheaper than most other places. The service is very good but be prepared that if you’re under 50 years old or so you’ll probably the the youngest people in the restaurant. This seems to be really popular with the local senior citizen crowd. During the week they have an excellent lunch buffet with all you can eat chicken and it also includes the salad bar and soup too. This is a safe place for a decent home cooked meal.

If you are looking for a fancy steak house this isn’t the place, but the food is actually decent. The steak is good, and they have an all you can eat salad bar. The salad bar has your typical selections, but offers a few hot items as well like mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and homemade soup. As for the steak, they have your sirloin, t-bone, rib eye, and prime rib. You also have the choice of chicken, pork chops, shrimp, fish, and crab. I like their steak beause they don’t over season it or mask the taste. Can’t say its the best steak I have ever eaten, but it is good and reasonably priced. I have spent alot more at other places that wasn’t as good.
