I picked Dr. Mendu as my new doctor based on reviews I read on multiple sites. I haven’t found the staff to be particularly rude so far — as people have mentioned. There is, however, always a considerable wait time regardless of when you arrive, which seems to be due to understaffing and/or disorganization. As far as the doc himself, Dr. Mendu is a lovely man.

Dr. Deora is a fantastic doctor and no doubt about it. but their staff are pathetic and rude. appointments are not so easy, following up for a test results are upto your patience.

I have been to this office for 3 times now in the past 2 months and I disagree with the previous reviewers. Dr. Sonia Deora was very professional and so was her staff. When my ob/gyn ditched me when I was seriously sick for not having enough history with them(been to see him for 2 months and somehow he was scared to see me when I was sick, LOL!) and after being discharged from emergency(no use going there), I had to shop around for a same day appointment and Dr. Deora took me in and treated me the same day. Dr. Deora and her staff stayed late until I was done with my IV and made sure I was OK to go home. Seriously, she saved my life that day. Thanks Dr. Deora and your staff! Awesome and caring!

The staff are bad at schedule the appointments. Sometimes patients scheduled at 2:00 pm, they don’t come until 2:20. While others might be having an appointment at 2:20 and they do arrive on time at 2:20. But they still have to wait like forever until the patients scheduled at 2: 00 to finish the appointment. They have such a tight schedule that no matter how early you go to the Dr office, you have to wait at least an hour or more, which is stupid and they do not respect other people’s time at all. I actually wrote this review while waiting like endless at the Dr. Office. After about an hour, they called me in and put me in this tiny small room. After they check my blood pressure and heart beat, they left me alone again. And of course, have to wait again for the doctor to come. After 20 minutes without the doctor drop by to see me, I have to go out and remind they again I wasn’t being forgotten. Also their actual office address and the one that they listed on the website is totally different. Not that easy to find if you are not familiar with the area. So, DONOTGOTHERE!

My experiences with GSP found the team at this office to be surprisingly unprofessional. On my last visit, I was kept waiting for over an hour past the time of my scheduled appointment, with absolutely no explanation or apology from the office staff. I understand that unexpected things can come up and cause delays, but giving your patients the silent treatment and just assuming they’ll happily wait indefinitely is no way to run a business; I’d certainty never return to a restaurant that treated my reservation in such a manner, and just because it’s a doctor’s office doesn’t give GSP a pass. Being kept waiting for so long isn’t helped any by the tiny reception area. It’s literally been standing room only more than once when I visited. Their phone system is a mess. The number it provides for billing questions(given once, with no way to repeat it) is a disconnected number. Pressing the option to leave a voice mail hangs up on the caller. I pointed out that issue to the staff months ago, and it’s still broken. Oh, and if you wanted more information on the practice online, too bad, because its website is inexplicably down. All in all, nothing about the way this office is administered says«professional, competent staff». That said, the actual medical care I received was satisfactory, but I don’t see any reason to settle for a sub-par office experience when there are so many other doctors in the area.
