I’ve used gutter man for years and several times have called to say they left a mess. Leaves just thrown down on the patio and around the house and the garden hose not left as they found it, coiled up but thrown in a heap. The price was decent and I stuck with them as its a local business. I have them come twice a year. This spring they came and again left a big mess but in the process when they threw down he heavy wet leaves they knocked over a very costly topiary in a beautiful pot and broke the pot and ruined the plant. We cleaned it up trying to repot it as soon as we found it. Called and they seemed to be apologetic and even offed to charge us half price… Of the newly increased rate I may add. But when the bill came it was a different story. We have tried to let it go and continue to use them but unfortunately management would rather not until we pay up… Hmmm maybe we should submit a bill for the damages and clean up at their current rate.

I’ve used them a total of three times(on the same house) and their prices go up every time. I started at $ 120. in 2013, I was charged $ 185. in 2014(and they were very apologetic and explained that the price was so high because the gutters were very dirty), and now they just left me an invoice for $ 208. In addition, they proactively called me to schedule a cleaning at least 4 months ago and they just showed up out of the blue 4+ months later and are charging me more than ever for the same job. The back of their invoice says that their minimum service charge for any visit is now $ 125. In all fairness, they do a decent job, but their fees are simply too high for the amount of time & effort they are expending. If you are in central NJ, shop around and get quotes from other gutter cleaning services before you hire Gutterman at 820 State Road in Princeton, NJ.
