I came to Princeton for a Grand affair And came to this hotel with where I did despair I expected a little bit of class And discovered instead all tarnished brass I certainly do respect it’s antiquity But really, is that an excuse for run downed ubiquity? The ducked tape rug, the mildewed tile, the torn wallpaper were just not my style. But being a patient type, I did not fuss until my heater did not work(then I cussed) Still I understood a little bit of sacrifice except my bill reflected I had been in paradise! I’m not sure why Neal gave this place a four, unless they gave him free sushi next door. In my book, a nice hotel should include friendly staff, hot water and non-vending machine food!!! No, a two, a two is what they get and I won’t come back — you can surely bet!

Pleasant inn, upgraded from an earlier vintage motor lodge by throwing exterior walls on to make interior corridors for the rooms. It’s been nicely upgraded, and is clean, quiet, and pleasant. Breakfast was lacking. Despite an(in theory) decent free hot buffet, something was always missing that confounded forming a meal. First day, everything was put out nearly an hour after the buffet opened. Also, they were always hiding critical items(butter, cream cheese, milk, etc) such that anything that was out was largely inedible without tracking down someone to obtain the critical ingredient. Internet access and TV selection was quite nice.
