Great place to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The people there are great and they have a great family atmosphere. The instructors are passionate about the sport and it shows when they are training and teaching. They have classes everyday of the week(except Sundays) so it fits in to your schedule nicely. The students are also great and really help you learn. The only con(for me) is the location of training — during hot summer months, it can get quite warm in the training area.

PBJJ is hands down the most competitive BJJ place in the area. Top notch instruction, as well as friendly and family oriented environment, Emily and Art care about their students both inside and outside the gym and you can feel it as soon as you step on the mats. They are well connected in the BJJ world and competition circuit. To top it off they are a Marcelo Garcia affiliation, so you get a lot of perks with guest instructors, training at MGNYC and other BJJ schools as well. If you are looking to make friends have fun and bring your game to the next level come try a class, I guarantee that you will enjoy yourself, sweat, and add something to your game all in the same day! Anytime you step on the mat you can find yourself training with 5+ black belts, 5+ browns belts, 5+ purples, and a handful of blue and white belts… all in a controlled and competitive setting. This school has something for every Belt Level.

Princeton Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is great for both the beginner, intermediate and advanced BJJ practitioner. They provide TOPNOTCH instruction and personal care in your personal opportunities. Art and Emily live for BJJ and that passion shows in every class. I had the pleasure of attending PBJJ for two years and was very fortunate to have received my purple belt under Art and Emily. They made my time there very memorable and I was sad when I had to leave. GREATPEOPLE and GREAT training environment for all.

This is the antidote to the McDojo. Do you hate being locked into a long contract? Do you hate being nickel and dimed for«belt testing»? My middle school aged son trains here and loves it. He tried other martial arts before BJJ and likes this the best. The kids program isn’t watered down techniques. It has real live full contact sparring but the instructors emphasize safety and teamwork so it’s very safe. I liked it so much I’ve started training here too.

Art, Emily, and I go way back and they are like family to me both on and off the mats. They also are tremendous mentors and teachers of BJJ to myself and all their students. What you’ll find at Princeton BJJ is an environment that is conducive to learning through a feeling of comradery and community. There are no egos and no politics. A warm and welcoming family friendly environment for all with a well kept and tidy facility. I could go on and on, but I recommend to just come on through and see for yourself.
