Super friendly and competent dentist ! Cant recommend enough!

I picked two stars for this place, even though I did not go there in person, because of the receptionist. I called to make an appointment for my mother, who is in a lot of pain. I do not know if the doctor is any good, but I can assure you that the receptionist is not. After I explained why I wanted to bring my mother in, and asked a few questions, and the question the receptionist asked was: «Does she speak English, because she has to fill out some forms?» WHAT!!! Who asks that!!! If I called, it wasn’t because my mother couldn’t, but because I care about my mother and wanted to help her find a good dentist. This woman makes me think badly of the practice, and I feel bad for Dr. Rotondi, who will loose more costumers if she continues to be demeaning to his potential costumers. In fact, she doesn’t even know that I always go to the doctor with my mother, and therefore she would always be accompanied by someone if in fact she needed help. Oh! and when I asked about the pricing, she said «How would I know?!», so I said «because you work there!!». Yeah, it did not go well. I have called several dentist offices in the past few days and this is the worst receptionist. Everyone whom I called has always been able to give me a range in pricing, such that I have an idea of where the price will be — seems natural and obvious to ask this and to get an answer. If you don’t care, go ahead and see the dentist, but know that I found another one and will go there because from the beginning the staff has been much more caring and the dentist has better reviews.

Highly recommended! Granted, when I go to the dentist I tend to get good news… But even if you don’t, Dr. Rotondi is an excellent choice. His family-​style practice won’t treat you like a number. I’ve also never encountered a dental hygienist here — this is one medical practioner who is serious enough about taking care of his patients to treat them personally.
How positive is this recommendation? I use Dr. Rotondi’s practice even though I live more than 800 miles away.
