This store used to be good. Key word«used» to be the girls who managed and ran the place used to at least be friendly, sweet, and had a good idea of how to style a person and help them pick out a great outfit. Now, the service is haphazard at best it was clear from the people working there that they were new or had absolutely no idea what they were doing. The did not know the designers, could not give options, and one literally spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to ring up a customer. Even the trunk show for JBrand which is usually such a major event was a DISASTER! Nothing was laid out, hung up or organized in any way. They just had«bins» of stuff to sift through and here’s the thing if you are in Forever 21 or Express i would sift through bins for days because I am buying a $ 20 outfit. When you are spending upwards of $ 120 per item this is absolutely ludicrous. Find any other store, I promise you this is not worth it.

My first visit to this store was a couple of weeks ago and I will be going back often! The selection is amazing and the staff super helpful. Am so glad to have discovered this gem!

Although I live in Manhattan, Rouge is still one of my top favorite stores! Whenever I go in they always have a great selection of clothing, bags, scarves, shoes, etc. Also, the rouge girls are amazing and so helpful! Christina is the absolute best and is always happy to help pick things out or order things in your size if unavailable. I highly recommend Rouge!

Walked in looking for a present for my wife and came across some incredibly helpful staff. I gave them a description of my wife, what she wears and they suggested some excellent things for me to choose from. P. S. — she loved her present!

So the alleged daughter of the owner of the store sent me a nasty message and wrote a counter-review which insulted all Unilocalers(as we apparently don’t have lives). As you can imagine, the counter-review was promptly removed by the moderators. It also included details about her family life that I assume were supposed to guilt me into giving the place five stars. My dad’s business averages four stars and I never bullied anybody. Yes, this store is still awful. But good move on airbrushing the pictures of the so-called models on your Facebook page. Some of the pictures came up on my newsfeed recently and I was glad to observe that my first review must have inspired that development.

Weirdest store ever. Unfriendly staff, overpriced clothing, bizarre selection — I don’t get it. I am all for funky mismatchy stores, but this one creeps me out. I didn’t like them in their first location, and I don’t like them in their second. I would have given them 2 stars, but their staff is rude, and selective about who they give the time of day(aka if you’re not super thin and look like you have money to spend, peace). Plus, they deliberately, and without hiding it, hike up their prices. You can actually SEE suggested retail price tags with prices for under what they are charging. I’d much rather spend my time and money at Anthropologie. Boo Hiss.

This store makes my heart beat faster… not only do I love a good 99% of the stuff they sell here, I also think they take good care of their customers, as opposed to a little store up the street that rhymes with«blowey.» I first discovered them a few years back when they were in the smaller space. They sold the awesome Hanky Panky thongs that work no matter what you’re wearing(look mom, no panty line!) and once they moved, I was a little worried that they’d lose their charm. Luckily, the store is even better than before, and now I love to stock up on cute dresses and jeans as well as drool over the jewelry as I’m waiting for my purchase to be rung up. My husband knows where to find this place, too, so I fully expect some goodies whenever preset time rolls around. Just in case you’re reading this, honey, remember… I’m a size 6 and take a medium.

I adore Rouge and, though my bank account may disagree fervently with me, attempt to swing by every time I find myself in Princeton. The place started out as a small lingerie-focused store further up Witherspoon St. and more recently expanded to a bigger store with more of a focus on jeans and other apparel. Rouge also sells cosmetics and things-that-smell-good, like candles. The clothes are mostly pretty casual and run the gamut from preppy and basic(they went nuts over Jack Rogers sandals a few years ago) to stuff that’s trendy enough to wear out in the city. In the winter there’s always a great selection of resort wear, too. Most of Rouge’s offering tends to be from less-well-known designers and brands than those at Zoe over on Hulfish St. There’s also a wider variation in price: nothing’s cheap, but there are a few brands whose prices are more Banana Republic than D&G, so it’s easier to find something that will be a bit kinder to your wallet. I’ve had great luck finding very, very specific things here. The sales are great and the staff is quite friendly, albeit a little overeager sometimes. PS: If you meet the owner, Paige, and you happen to know anything about men’s heavyweight rowing, ask her about her connection to it…

I can’t believe you moved… I miss having my cup o small world in, and then having it taken away from me. NOT. This is another one of those Zoe-esque places to go to in town. It carries lots of interesting brands, not always known(denim, lingerie, cosmetics, swimsuits, cute tops, suits, etc.) Fer some reason they are like obsessed with Hanky Panky(another Zoe thing). I come here all the time to buy gifts for my gals… i know most of it is pricey, but cosmetics/lingerie always work! ;) 2 stars for their cute little«commando» thongs which come in little boxes. 1 star for the pretty display. 1 star for the workers there not flipping out at me when I accidentally walked out of their store with a 1000 dollar bag. Props to you girls.
