Sleep Inn & Suites

We checked in on Saturday (Dec 19^th) & are still here. Being a natives of the area, my husband & I are in the area a a couple times a year. We have stayed at different hotels & haven’t liked any well enough to return. That is, until now!
We both have been pleasantly surprised with our stay. The lobby is very pretty & quaint. It’s tastefully decorated for the holidays. The complimentary breakfast offers a nice variety, including hot options. There is a pool but we haven’t utilized it. However, I did have to utilize the guest laundry which is efficient & easy to use. Staff is extremely nice & professional.
Our room is exactly as described on Expedia. It is nicely decorated. When we arrived the room was clean & inviting. The sofa bed is easy to use.
The only downsides have been the shower & bed. The shower has great pressure but it appears dingy. The bed is a little hard, but still way better than Microtel.

Rooms somewhat small, but very modern and nice. Full size bed in double rooms.

Stayed with my big family in two rooms. Staff provided rollaway beds (rooms aren’t very big so it was a tight squeeze). Quiet, good night’s sleep, comfortable bedding. Breakfast was much better than expected. Rate was reasonable.

Stayed one night; clean rooms and great location right off of I-​77 with lots of dining options in the area. Unfortunately, we left our GPS there and when I called later on the day we left, they had it and sent it to our home via UPS. Thanks!

Very helpful front desk! Rooms are clean and roomy, pets allowed with no extra fees!

Not top of the line, but it was a great place for the price. The associates were helpful AND I was allowed to bring Sophie with no issues.
I remember walking in and seeing three older ladies in pajamas in the small seating area of the lobby just chatting away and gossiping. That lent itself to some small-​town charm. It was also a tad random for me. The room allowed me to sleep, though, and I was not caused any undue issues.
Sleep Inn does offer a free breakfast in the morning which consists of the usual prepackaged items, hardboiled eggs, and biscuits and gravy. Stay away from the biscuits and gravy; otherwise, everything was good.

Super unhelpful staff. Asked one girl if there was a place nearby where my friends and I could grab a drink. «I’m not really into the bar scene.» End of conversation. Nothing else to offer, not even an offering of proof that Princeton, West Virginia has any sort of thing even approaching a bar SCENE. Anyhoo, so I moved down the counter and asked the next person working there the same question. «I’m not old enough to drink.» End of conversation. Really? Not to be all Chandler Bing, but could they be LESS helpful?
