Loved every minute of our time here at HaleLe’a Spa. Perfect Spa for relaxation and rejuvenation. I am 5 months pregnant and had the hapai prenatal massage while the Beau had a deep tissue with pohaku stones. They were able to have me lie on my stomach incorporating a foam pillow for my growing opu and breasts. It felt so good for once to be on my stomach while having a massage. I felt very relaxed and on the clouds but wanted a much stronger massage for sore areas. My Beau felt so great after having an awesome massage, we ordered room service and he passed out from his body so relaxes with all the lactic acid being let out. The coed relaxation room was perfect for us to bond prior and after our couples massage. The fruit infused water and the coconut crème tea was magnificent with the dried fruit and almonds. Lemongrass cold towelettes upon arrival and lavender towelettes at the sauna and steam room was a nice touch. I’m so very grateful for being able to bond and connect at this spa with my love.

I got a mani/pedi by Toni at the spa and she did a fabulous job. I like my nails square with rounded edges. She said it before I did. You wouldn’t believe how many nail technicians don’t get that. She was also very sensitive to the fact that I had surgery on my ankle/foot months prior, but the scar area was still sensitive — and she was great about being very careful around that area. She was warm, funny and a consummate professional. It really did feel like a luxury version of your typical mani/pedi. If you go to the spa — please request Toni. You will love her.

I love resort spas… and this one was no exception. I would have slept for hours in the co-ed lounge — so quiet, so comfortable, lots of great extras like delicious hot tea, fruit infused water, nuts, dried fruits, etc. I had a facial and a spa pedicure. My facial was good, but not amazing. I always pick a facial over a massage because it’s really good for my skin, relaxing, and usually(or at least should) come with a neck, arm and hand massage. The ‘massage’ left much to be desired but I certainly noticed great improvement in my skin, especially after several days in the pool, ocean, and sun. The pedicure was lovely… very glad I did all of this on my last day there. Not sure either one would have been worth doing until then. Loved the locker room and amenities!

I’ve had this spa bookmarked to review for the past year(terrible, I know!). I just had to go back and give this place the five stars it deserves because I’ve come to realize that every single massage and spa I’ve experienced since, I find myself constantly comparing it to the Halele’a Spa and I’ve yet to find anything nearly as amazing. If you’re on Unilocal trying to find a relaxing activity for your Kauai trip, booking a massage here will not disappoint. Husband and I had a couples massage during our honeymoon. This place is seriously the BEST! Highlights: — Staff is sweet, friendly, and professional. We got a very thorough tour of the spa. — Co-ed lounge areas are lovely. Spend some time relaxing here and don’t skip the tea and cookies! — Massage: the absolute best I’ve had. My masseuse was great at checking in with me and adjusting the massage based on my comments/direction throughout the session(that went by WAY too quickly). — Rain shower is AWESOME! I remember there being over 10 shower heads. The Malie bath products smell amazing. I tried to the buy the lotion but they were out =( While Halele’a Spa might be a little bit of a splurge, it’s seriously worth it. Next trip we take back to Kauai, I’ll be making a bee-line to schedule a massage here.

My mom and I went for a girl’s spa day when we were on vacation in Kaua’i. She had a facial and massage, and I had a facial and mani/pedi. Needless to say, we were both glowing after our treatments. The day we went I had a horrendous sunburn and everything was very sore to touch. My technician Rachel was very sensitive to this and altered my treatment so that nothing hurt. In fact she used sunburn skin treatment called Pure Fiji to help treat it, which works better than any aloe I have ever used. I ended up buying the product which I almost NEVER do. Toni did my nails and she was an absolute character! I am definitely a chatty Kathy and she definitely went along with this. As for my mom, who gets massages and facials often, said for both treatments that«it was so terrible that everyone had to go back and try again for at least three more hours». :) I knew there was a women’s only lounge, but she and I both opted for the coed one. It is much more relaxing and has more of that«spa» feel with the dimmed lights and Hawaiian music. I was so pleased with our experience that I went and scheduled a couples’ massage for later in the week after my boyfriend arrived as a surprise for him!

The massage(lomi lomi) was one of the best I’ve ever had. The coconut oil was amazing. I was disappointed that for $ 175 I don’t have access to the swimming pool and I’m an spg member but just because I wasn’t staying at their hotel this trip I didn’t receive any points for my purchase.

Our experience at Halele’a Spa was absolutely incredible! We booked a couple’s massage during our stay at the St. Regis. Our attendants were friendly and helpful, and gave us a tour of the facilities. The massage itself was phenomenal. It was so therapeutic, and my masseuse was able to work out all my knots that never seemed to go away with previous massages. After the massage, we were shown to the lounge, and did exactly that – lounge. We were served refreshing tropical tea and cookies, and felt so comfortable and relaxed. The shower was epic, as well as the sauna and steam room. They also provide you with Mālie bath products, which smell and feel great. As an added bonus, the spa is kind enough to allow guests of the St. Regis to use their showers after checkout in case you visit the beach before your flight, and need to freshen up. We will definitely be returning to Halele’a Spa the next time we’re in Kauai!

Here almost a year later and the couple’s hot stone massage was just as fabulous as the one last year. Front desk at the spa could be worked on a little bit better, no one was sure how to add additional tip to the massage but the manager fixed it. Would highly recommend this again, just don’t stay at the St Regis unless you’ve won the lottery.

I always wanted to get a couples massage with my Mr. but of course we never got to. What better time to try than our honeymoon? It was his first time in a day spa, so I wanted to YOLO it and go somewhere nice. We arrive at St. Regis where the spa is located(btw this place has a beautifullll view at sunset) and we are promptly checked in with a tour of the spa. We change into our robes(in separate lockers of course) then meet up in the couples lounge. It’s nice and quiet with romantic lighting and seats that fit the two of us with complimentary hot tea and delicious cookies. Soon enough we get called for our massage. We are brought into a room with two massage tables and our technicians came in and talked to both of us separately about where we need the most work done on our bodies and what kind of aromatherapy we would like. We both received 45 minute massages and they were both very good. We felt so relaxed after! After our massage we lounged a bit more together, this time, was served our tea and cookies, then we separately used the amenities, showered, and met up after. It is definitely on the pricier side, but I think for our first couples massage together and for it being our honeymoon, it was fantastic and amazing.

My husband and I had the 60 minute couples massage and wow, you definitely need to be on your high horse for this spa! It was absolutely worth every penny, we thought it was actually pretty cheap in comparison to the other spas. The showers alone are the best experience! I took the one in the corner where the ceiling shower head was a triple waterfall, I literally just danced around circles in there. I used all the Maile products which was über nice. The macadamia nut cookies are good but the tea was the best part, it just tasted very pretty in your mouth. The Coed lounge room is the nicest to lounge in especially with the dim lit lights and the big comfy round chairs. I had Marion as my masseuse and she worked on all the kinks and knots. Basically I was a noodle for the rest of the day. If you were to splurge on one thing as a couple, this was a very fun experience!

Amazing, amazing spa experience at the St. Regis Princeville! Our experience at Halele’a Spa was absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. I went on a Sunday morning for the Taro Butter Pohaku Massage which incorporates hot stones and taro butter for deep muscle relaxation-and relax I did. This is one of the best massages I’ve ever had, and I’ve had quite a few. As if a great massage wasn’t enough, you have full access to the rest of the spa for the entire day. They have a great«Co-ed lounge» where you can relax before, during, and after your treatments with ice water, tea, and cookies that are all really, really good… yes, this is some above par water my friends. They also have a steam room, sauna, and some crazy multi-head, waterfall showers. I was in that shower for a good 30 minutes taking it all in. Definitely try the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion-they smell and feel fantastic, I even bought a bottle to bring home! All the staff are so accommodating and it just made for a perfect day at the spa!

It was our final day of Hawaiian bliss and Mr. Hubs wanted to end our trip with lomi lomi massages. We were having trouble choosing between the Halele’a Spa and the Anara Spa(Grand Hyatt in Poipu). However, since we were staying at the Westin in Princeville and hanging out by the pool at the St. Regis, the Haele’a Spa was the natural choice. The spa was wonderful and most importantly relaxing! There were only a handful of people at the spa when we went in the late afternoon and I was able to use the sauna, steam room, experimental rain forest shower in an unhurried and leisurely pace. I met up with Mr. Hubs in the Co-ed lounge and snacked on cookies and drank fruit tea before we headed out to our treatments. The one hour lomi lomi was perfect, just what we needed after a week of sunburns and driving around the island. So glad we chose to book our spa appointments here. I wish they had a jacuzzi in the spa as that was the only thing that kept it from being absolutely perfect. Regardless, you will not be disappointed if you are looking for some pampering and r&r. Loved it and would definitely recommend. Tips: *no mandatory gratuity up front *accepts spa finders *guests at the Westin Princeville also save 10% off all services

I loved the day I spent at Halelea Spa. Melissa provided me with the best massage I’ve ever gotten; and I’ve visited a good number of «posh» spas. She was amazing. The vibe here is quiet and low key. The coed lounge is a great place to reflect after a treatment. Also the experiential shower is the bomb. Life is short– there’s not many things as «worth it» as an awesome massage and a day spent at a place as tranquil as this. If you are kama’aina, hollar at them — they’ve got a deal for us.

I can’t begin to articulate the unprecedented quality and amazing experience we had at Halele’a spa. You’re first greeted with the personal and welcoming hospitality that is the St. Regis. My husband(still getting used to calling him that!) and I went for a 90 minute couples massage. We were first shown to the locker areas where we were given a tour of the facilities and how to use them. Facilities included a sauna, steam room, showers with wall to ceiling fixtures, and one with it’s own mini waterfall. They have a couple of different lounges where you can relax while you wait for your treatment — separate men’s and women’s lounge and a coed lounge. The coed lounge really brought a sense of relaxation and tranquility with it’s comfy lounge couches and beds. Citrus water and blueberry tea were there to quench your thirst, and fresh fruit and the most amazing cookies to curb any hunger pains. We were taken to the couples suite where our masseuses introduced us to our choice of massage oil scents and asked a about our preferred massage style. We were treated to the most amazing Hawaiian chant by our masseuse, Silvia. I went with the lomi lomi massage and hubby chose a mixture of sport, relaxing and lomi. Let me just say that this was by far the best massage I have ever had. Silvia was perfect. She brought a real energy and healing touch to her work. I truly felt transformed after. The experience was worth the price. You are also allowed full use of the spa facilities for the entire day. They use their own proprietary brand of products, called Maile, which smell wonderful. All in all, an amazing experience that should be on your«must do» list when on Kauai!
