Minnehaha Cafe

Stopped in here for Wild rice soup after having a couple of drinks and having to drive home around 11 pm. The waitress was so personable and even gave me an extra dinner roll with soup. This is a casual open seating café at the casino. Soup arrived pipping hot and timely. Soup was $ 4 something and left a $ 2 too due to excellent service. Would probably return.

When you have to be in the Prior Lake/​Shakopee area and are a nite owl like I am your choices of where to eat are limited to dang near nothing. That makes this place an oasis in an ocean of closed at 8pm places. They have a great selection at decent prices. There is nothing we have ate there that is not real good so for me to point out one thing would be real tough but if I would have to say one item that does stand out above the rest is their artichoke dip on garlic toast. The staff is friendly and it is hidden away from all the smoke in the casino. So if you need something to eat after 8 or 9pm head on out there.
