Aldi is my go to store for basics — eggs, butter, veggies, cereal. Love their commitment to lower prices. And I’m more than willing to do my part– bring my own bags and a quarter to use a cart.

One of the modern«Urban Legends» is that Aldi is owned by Trader Joe’s, or something similar. In fact, two separate members of the same Aldi family own each corporation — and they are really 2 companies: Aldi Nord and Aldi Sud, both German. They do seem to share a similar penchant for German imports, and sometimes that yields interesting products, but shop here only for its own merits, not for some«aura» of being the same as Trader J’s.

Lost my job three years ago, and«lowered my standards» out of necessity to discover this gem. Now I’m back working and still love it. Nice people. Clean. Great selection. The quality is tops, except frozen packaged items, which never seem to measure up. Oh well, that’s why I also shop at their related store, Trader Joe’s.

Love the prices, love the food! The lines can get long sometimes and what makes almost no sense is the fact that they have 5 cashier lines. I have seen 2 open at the most but usually it’s just one. Seems like a design flaw to me. But having only a couple workers in the store at a time is just another way they help us save our hard earned money!

Aldi always has great prices on every day items. I don’t care for their produce and some other random items, but overall you can get a lot of necessities here. Things like salt, mustard, frozen veggies, tuna, etc. are all cheaper here. And the people at the check-out are FAST. One bad thing about all Aldi locations is you have to use debit or cash. Your credit is no good here. And you need a quarter for your cart. And they don’t have plastic/paper bags. So bring your own!
