Discount Liquor Store

Similar selection as the Jewel. Not the wine selection I expect from a liquor store. No reviews posted with any of the wines either. Maybe the beer and hard liquor selection is better.

I am a big fan of Discount Liquors. I used to live in Arlington Heights for many years and was very excited when Discount Liquors opened. In fact, now that I live in Chicago I miss the store very much. They have a fantastic selection of wine and other spirits. What most impressed me is how when I was looking for a port wine, I asked the owner and he was very quick giving me a recommendation. The good news is that port was such a hit that it made me look like a rock star. Thanks Discount Liquors!!!
Recently this summer, Discount Liquors has added Kat’s Wine Boutique which holds seminars on different wines. I think it is great that Discount Liquors has not only reasonable prices but they are going the extra mile to educate consumers. I think a lot of us are intimidated by wine and think we have to spend a fortune to get quality. While the store has many selections to choose from, they are approachable from any budget. That is what impressed me the most. They are not going to steer you towards the most expensive but honestly the best choice.

One simple question… where does the discount come into play? I walked in. took a look at some of the merchandise prices. and walked right out.

I am now a proud employee at this awesome store. I am expanding our wine offering and have even created my own «wine boutique»! I’m going to be planning monthly tasting events.
