Gingerwoods is beautiful, we had an amazing day and the ceremony was lovely… BUT buyer beware because the staff is difficult to deal with. They will keep the security deposit for «excessive cleaning» although no staff is present throughout the reception or during so called cleaning hours. If you decide to use this venue, consider your deposit part of the payment and expect to be blamed for damage.

Gingerwoods is a beautiful, quaint event facility nestled on the countryside of Oldham County. I attended my friend’s wedding here, and was amazed at what a perfect setting it was. The outdoor area overlooks a horse pasture and Henry’s Ark, which is a wildlife refuge/​petting zoo. There were camels and emus within sight of the wedding, which was a nice backdrop. I highly recommend this location to anyone planning a wedding.
