This location is the absolute worse. Every single time I go to this Sonic they mess up my order and the fries are always cold. It has a bunch of teenagers running the business, there is never an adult present. I don’t know who runs this franchise but the only reason it’s in business is because Prosper is a small town. Most days I travel to the Sonic in Celina even though this Sonic is literally in my backyard. Today I decided I didn’t want to drive to the next town to eat lunch and of course that turned out once again to be a big mistake. I repeated my order 3 times after being put on hold. The car hop brings it out and I look at the order before she walks away and it’s wrong as usual. She asks if I want to order it again. Out of frustration I told her no. It’s not like it was a complicated order I asked for a bun not toast. That was the only modification. I get home and the tater tots are cold. I thought I’d try ordering those this time so maybe they would have to make them fresh but nope cold and soggy just like their fries. No one at this Sonic takes pride in their food. Guess if I want Sonic I’ll have to go out of town to get it.

Like many locals we want to support businesses but this location needs to be torn down/rebuilt and the staff/management replaced. Apparent whoever bought it never cares to address complaints. Not one response has been made to the numerous poor reviews. Went there last night because my kids had it have chicken strip sandwiches. As I pulled there were about ten male teens yelling and cutting up so loud we could hardly get our orders made. One of there buddies was an employee and we watched as he hauled a large waste container to the outside trash bins. Apparently they’re disposing of food improperly. After a twenty minute wait for four kid sandwiches we drove around where the trash containers are located. This NOT an exaggeration: I saw at least ten huge rats scurrying along the brick wall and in the driveway! Rolled down my window and could hear what sounded like twenty or more. Not really sure if a health inspector ever checks this place but they literally should be shut down. Returned about a week later just to hit the trash area with bright headlights. It turned my stomach to see about 25 rats scurrying for cover. So bad even though this location is less than a mile away we will head into Frisco for Sonic. Disgraceful.

I don’t know why we keep going back. Service is always poor. Picked up a double cheese burger with lettuce and mayo. Lettuce was brown and the fries were old and cold. Pass by this sonic and go up the road to the one in Celina. Better service and food!!!

This place has never once gotten my order correct. Not once in 3 years. Each time, I have them repeat the order back and they still NEVER once have they given me what I have asked and paid for. After waiting 20 minutes and paying close to $ 30 for 4 hot dogs and frozen tots, it should not be my job to double check orders. Then, miss my daughter’s school lunch time because I am waiting for them to fix their mistakes. I understand everyone is human but this place just doesn’t learn or improve from their mistakes EVER!!! I worked at Sonic all through my teen years and our manager always was the one to do a final check on things, so not sure what’s going on in there. I will not give this place the benefit of doubt again. In the time I waste on them I can drive to Celina’s location and back. The Celina location is quick and correct everytime. All I ask for is ONIONS on my coney!!! Geeeeeeez! Clue: press the«+» and the«o» on the order board. Not hard.

I couldn’t agree more with all the other one and two star reviews. These people could careless. Over 10 minutes to get 3 fountain drinks… ridiculous. The busier Prosper gets with more capable business who are looking to make customers happy this place will shut down.

Less than 1 star! I have had my order messed up several times and I had to wait for 10 more minutes to have my order fixed when it it should have been right the first time. Love sonic but not this one

There is no sense of urgency to get meals or drinks out fast. All other sonics I go to they hustle to get your items.

I haven’t eaten ar a Sonic in 20 years, literally. Twenty years ago I ordered a chili cheese dog. It was bright pink. Cartoon pink(I made that color up but you get the drift). This was my first trip back since. I has the Ultimate Meat and Cheese Burrito Combo. It was really good. I am looking forward to having another.

They should change their hours online if they aren’t going to stay open as late as it says. Always closes before the hours say they will. Not very good service.

This sonic is never clean. They always take your change without you saying they can keep the change. I have lost $ 3 from them taking it and not returning it. Even when I buy a drink it takes at least 5 minutes for them to give it to you. They don’t take care of the place, take your change, and take for ever.

This place is terrible. When I went there today, I could barely hear the girl. I tried to tell her that and she didn’t change her voice level at all. When she read back my order, I kept trying to tell her I had no clue what she was saying and not once did she repeat back or try to speak louder. She then just read my total(no apology, nothing). When the food came, the girl that brought it had an indifferent look on her face like she would rather be anywhere but Sonic today. She wasn’t friendly. She read me back my food as she was handing it to me and I told her I could barely hear her. I don’t know if it’s the loud music they have playing or the people talking quietly. I don’t have a hearing problem ;) So anyways, I asked her if she minded waiting while I checked my food to make sure it was right. I checked my kids burgers and one did not have cheese on it. So she went and brought me back a hamburger w/a cold slice of cheese slapped on it. Extremely frustrated at this point, I got out of the car and went into the building. I asked the manager(a man who looked to be in his early 20’s) if this is how they treat a customer– I ask for a cheeseburger, you give me a burger, and when I send it back you just slap a cold piece of cheese on it?- and he was polite about it and said he will make a new one, but at that point, I just said forget it and walked out. I pulled off and parked at one of the buildings to eat my food. I saw they had put BBQ on my sandwich when I said no BBQ! I checked my receipt and the girl didn’t put a cheeseburger for my son and she didn’t put«no BBQ» for my sandwich. B/c of the attitudes of the staff(minus the manager working), I will not be back. Very disappointing b/c Prosper doesn’t have much for fast food. I’d rather make the drive to the Sonic in McKinney, off of Custer! This was my second time coming here and last time, the staff was also indifferent.

Basically your run of the mill sonic franchise. BUT The GM was really helpful when I had something wrong with my wrap… he hand delivered a new one and was very gracious about it. It feels pretty good to have a man in a suit and tie deliver food to your car window.

We really want to like this local business. As others have mentioned, the staff could use additional training. Food is very inconsistent, which frustrates my family when they are craving a certain treat. Would go further down the street for better service.

This place frustrates me. I want to love it. Prosper is a small town and there are very few places to eat. They hire high school kids and don’t train them well, though! I get wrong food almost every time we go there or they forget items. Once we waited 30 minutes for one shake — my kid had their heart set on one from Sonic, so I waited, but seriously? The food is not as good as at other Sonics just down the road in Frisco. :(I really wish the owners would take training their people more seriously.
