We went here today because we were next door getting a tire replaced on our tractor trailer. The sales associate was terrific, she offered us many samples, information, and was very friendly. It was a wonderful experience, and these products are top quality. We purchased a ton of goodies. If I am ever back in town we will return for a tour. Everything is processed right here! These treats would make great gifts for family and friends, if I don’t get to return, I will definitely order online. Five stars across the board. :)

We left here with a ton of goodies! These products are top quality, and the sales associate was very eager to share information with us, as well as many, many samples. These products make great gifts for family and friends, too. If I can’t return to this store, I will surely be a return customer online.

I’ve been a fan of Chukar Cherry Company since their flagship store opened up in Prosser Washington more than 20 years ago. Who doesn’t love chocolate covered dried fruit? Well, I was unsure of it 20 years ago… but I gave it a try and LOVED it. My favs are the chocolate covered dried Bing cherries. I also adore the chocolate covered candied pecans and white chocolate covered blueberries. They make some pretty darn good cherry-based BBQ sauce as well.

This is our favorite stop in Prosser even though it is not a winery. Dried fruit with and without flavored candy coating. Nice selection of nuts, with and without flavored coatings or seasonings. A few salsas to add to the experience. Very helpful young lady.

Chukar Cherry Company(henceforth CCC) put Prosser on the map(for me, at least). I first sampled their chocolate-covered treats at Pike Place Market, and when I saw that my roadtrip route would take me through Yakima Valley, I knew I had to stop in Prosser. The store is small but spacious — it’s got a basic square layout with shelves upon shelves of Chukar cherries(of course), nuts, chocolates, and a little shelf dedicated to other goods from local artisans(pasta, salsa, jams, etc.). Feeling indecisive about whether to get the cabernet cherries, truffle cherries, or chocolate-covered pecans? Chukar gives free samples! One of their staff walks around every 5 minutes with a new sample. If there’s something that’s caught your eye but you haven’t sampled, they’ll pop a piece right into your hand. Their generosity pays off — there wasn’t one thing I tried that I didn’t want to get, and I ended up walking out with 6 bags of goodies. The icing on the cake(or, the chocolate covering on the cherry ;)) — Chukar provides ice packs free of charge. They’re probably well aware that most visitors hail from out of town, and it’d be a shame to have all those delectable chocolates melt in a hot car. Top notch customer service, confections, and support for local artisans — Chukar is definitely as good as it gets!

Excellent products — worth the $ 700 I spent buying Christmas boxes /baskets for my best customers last season.

Chukar Cherries are possibly Americas best chocolate confections. The hazelnuts are outstanding. Virtually all of the cherry chocolates are excellent. The gift boxes make great presents.

I stopped by Chukar Cherry during the Great Prosser Balloon rally weekend. The friendly sales staff introduced me to their sweet confections and offered many samples. Try the honey pecans, raspberry truffle, and dark chocolate cherry sauce.

Good chocolates with fruit, poor customer experience. Hello, why don’t you guys charge two bucks for a sampler platter? The near lack of any samples(they used to have plenty) and the fact that you must have someone dole out samples for the few things opened shows poor awareness of customer buying cycle. Two bucks for 12 pieces of your various chocolates would be a huge hit. Also, why on earth you don’t want to pair with the many local wines at a side bar is also beyond me. It’s crazy, you get more samples and service in Pike Market, Seattle from Chukar.

I’ve been to the Chukar Cherry store a couple of times while in Prosser. Well it goes without saying that Chukar produces a mighty fine product. I mean, I love cherries. There’s that window between mid June to mid July where I have to plan my life around the cherry season here in south central Washington. I mean we simply have the best cherries – no doubt. With that said, the window goes by too fast. A good way to keep the cherry high going is to get yourself some Chukar Cherry products. For this past Christmas I ordered a grip of packages from Chukar online and sent them down to family down in California. I know they’ll love the chocolate and cherry goodness, and I know Chukar can always tide me over till June.

Damn you, Chukar Cherries. As if you didn’t make post-Thanksgiving difficult enough, you had to roll out the Chocolate Pumpkin Spiced Hazelnuts. Their website states«Suggested Uses. Tastes like pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. Perfect of an autumn dinner dessert.» Or, in my case, a post-breakfast treat. Now I’m going to have to trot my a*^ back to REI and get more. Thanks.

These cherries are my favorite part of going to REI, if you can believe it. The cabernets are also my favorite. You can also get them at Pike’s Place, of course, but they seem like more of a splurgey indulgence after looking at serious sports gear. I’m definitely giving them to the East Coast folks for Xmas this year(one for you, one for me).

These are not the cheap Christmas present cherries that are Queen Anne brand or the like. No, these are a variety of chocolate covered cherries using the finest milk and dark chocolates available and if you walk through the door of the Chukar Cherry headquarters in Prosser, Washington, you will be delighted to discover that you’ve walked into their tasting room. That’s right; you can sample their delicious chocolate covered cherries and jams. Jams that include a to-die-for peach jam among others. My personal favorite cherry is the Cabernet. There ought to be a law against those cherries. I’m so glad there isn’t though. Yum!!!
