This place is clutch. You’re hungry and need a basic 1^st world meal, they got you. I personally like the Donnie Brasco, substituted with ranch. I also highly recommend the smack yo mama wings. The tingle is a creeper that leaves your lips smacking. Def hit this place up.

Really good pizza! The sauce was flavorful and the cheese was string-​y, just how I like it. The garlic knots were a bit dry, maybe a bad batch?

Great buffalo chicken pizza the bacon is a wonderful, yummy addition! I can’t wait to try some of the other menu items and with Big Tony’s late night hours I will have plenty of time to try.

I had the Lucky Luciano gangster wrap a few weeks ago — BBQ chicken, provolone cheese and fries. AMAZING. Only $ 6 and change as well. My wife had the Donnie Brasco wrap, which is Buffalo Chicken, blue cheese and fries. She enjoyed her wrap as well. Also, can’t beat the slices!

This place is hit or miss. Mostly miss. I order food and it comes late and cold. And back then it used to be very good. Now it’s like they stopped caring and just serve you whatever you bought just thrown together. I hope they step their game up soon. When my peoples ask what we ordering and I mention big Tony’s, they try and kick me out the house. It’s not as popular around my friends either…

First-​time customer the other night for pick-​up.
We ordered a large mushroom & spinach pizza & much to my surprise, it was slathered with both!
My ONLY complaint with the pizza was it had practically NO tomato sauce on it!
Could not taste it at all. I only knew it had SOME on it from seeing a tiny bit up near the crust, other than that, forget it!
We also ordered a Cheesesteak sub to split. There was no visible cheese on it at all.
The little bit that was there was melted into the bread on one side & the rest of it was a VERY salty mess of chopped meat (steak? Me thinks not!).
It was so salty we threw it out… that bad! Uck.
If you try Big Tony’s ask for tomato sauce on your pizza or else you will get hardly none, and ask them to NOT salt the sub you order, either. Someone has a light hand with the sauce but a real heavy hand with the salt…

Never eaten at Big Tonys before. Nurses I work with told there good they deliverto The Miriam Hospital all the time. Well called them and was excited to place my order call them at 2am and the woman on the phone tells me we don’t delivery. To the hospital this late. Thing is it says delivery till 4am doesnt say where and how far they go. So disappointed with my 1^st attempt to order food there. Its a shame to futures orders that come out of miriam hospital cause they dont delivery to Miriam Hospital only to a certain time

Food is pretty good but the customer service is not. Ive spoken with a few different girls over the phone when placing orders and for some reason literally almost every time they gave me an attitude and were very rude. Not sure why the staff is so rude but it is not a pleasant ordering experience. I was also rushed off the phone while ordering which I did not appreciate because we frequently order from here and recommend this place to our friends and family. I like the Extreme Buffalo pizza, really good. It’s really accommodating that they deliver until 4am.
Also another day I ordered a pizza and asked for it with no chicken and they told me they couldn’t do that because they were too busy. So I was very upset because I thought the customer is always suppose to be right?! I ended up getting something else and I called back to ask for extra blue cheese and also mentioned that I wanted to speak to the manager about my request and how it was denied and the girl on the phone mentions it to the rude girl I spoke with the first time and the girl yells in the background «I already told her we couldn’t take the chicken off, are you serious», super unprofessional and extremely RUDE! This makes me not want to order here anymore, the customer service alone! Very disappointing.
I’m not sure why the terrible customer service issue has not been addressed by the manager, or supervisor, shift leader.someone.
The one star is mostly based off of the poor customer service I’ve received almost every call I’ve made!

First off, I used to order from here a lot… Great wraps! For some reason, the last two times I’ve ordered from here, the delivery drivers have been very rude. This last guy was the last straw and I refuse to order from here ever again. I work in downtown Providence in an office building so yes I can see it being confusing on which building to go to. After he gave me a call to find me, I tell him where I am specifically. Five minutes later we finally meet up and he told me I didn’t tell him where I was and then rolled his eyes when I apologized for the confusion. I was in absolute shock for the disrespect I received especially as a paying customer. I even gave the guy a 20% tip online and this is how I was treated?!?
I’ve worked in the restaurant business for over 10 years so if I was his manager and I saw this review I would be absolutely furious. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because mostly every time I’ve ordered from here, it has been good.

I have to tell you that my two last experience here were not that hot. So I have decided to expand on my concerns as I know that they really do care.
The first time I got a bug in my antipasto, then I got the wrong sandwich and on another occasion I got a bad piece of chicken. I am disappointed because I really do love the pizza, and I hate to limit my menu section to just that!
I could write the bug off as a naturally occurring event. Bug are in gardens, lettuce grows in gardens… But at some point the lettuce should have been washed. The front staff was so kind and they re made the salad with the female manager watching so I felt O.K. afterwards. It was just the point of the matter. it should have been washed.
As for the wrong sandwich. I called and asked for a buffalo chicken wrap, I specifically said, fried chicken, buffalo sauce, cheese and blue cheese NOTHING ELSE, and what I got was the Donnie Brasco which is grilled chicken, spicy with french fries in the wrap. It was not what I wanted, when a girl wants buffalo, a girl wants buffalo!
I truly appreciate the fact that they use fresh chicken; however, fresh chicken requires a good deal of prep and inspection. I have on more than one occasion gotten large pieces of fat and tendons. That just creeps me out.
My favorite thing is the basic cheese pizza or the extreme buffalo pizza. They are both amazing! I would suggest asking for them both well done. With the buffalo it is a heavy pizza and you want the bottom super crispy. As for the cheese pizza, that too can come a little floppy if you don’t ask for it done well. I like a stiff piece of pie ;)

cant get an order right at all. gave them plenty of chances. i gave up after my food was 1 hour and 40 minutes late and they yelled at me when i told them i didnt want the delivery. called owners next day and they were not interested in helping or offering any type of apology. i’ve given $ 5 tip on $ 19 orders and don’t even get a thank you. never again. entire place is miserable from the owners to the punk staff. stay away.

Just tried ordering over the phone and I received the worst service. The girls taking orders are very unprofessional… never again

Being long time Big Tony’s customers tonight was a surprising experience that has changed my mind almost indefinitely to NOT go back.
I ordered online and received my food in a decent amount of time, however half of it was wrong. The chicken tenders with honey mustard came as BBQ wings. After calling and having them tell me they’d fix it and send them right over I received a call back to say their POLICY is to receive the wings back in order to receive my original order they messed up in the first place! I have NEVER heard of this policy nor do I understand it. What’s the point? What are you going to do with your mistaken wings?! You can not serve them to any other customer it is illegal along with making me nervous my tenders might be coming from someone else’s house! I also believe I should be compensated in some way for this mistake I am now waiting upwards of an hour and a half for a full price paid meal. Not a happy customer.

Food is edible, but the customer service is constantly LACKING! I ordered delivery through foodler and the driver forgot an item
On my order. I called Big Tonys and told them, and they said I could call foodler to get my credit or come pick it up! Why did I just get my food delivered if I am going to drive there anyway? No apologies, nothing to compensate the inconvenience etc, and this is not the first time this has happened! After this experience tonight with your rather rude woman on the phone we will be ordering elsewhere, ANYWHERE else. Customer services keeps customers returning, not your sub-​par pizza.

I used to love this place until I ordered a veggie pizza with no olives and received an olive pizza. It wasn’t the fact that my order was wrong that upset me, it was the fact that when I called to tell them my order was incorrect they hung up the phone on me and I called back thinking I got disconnected and they kept hanging up the phone on me. That is terrible service and unacceptable. I don’t care if it was closing time you definitely do not treat customers that way ever. One bad experience like this will push a customer away forever.

Nothing Italian about the place. 5 racist Mexican cooks who took 20 mins to reheat my pizza but served any Latin who walked in immediately… I was the only white guy who ass wasn’t hanging out of his pants.
I’ve had better pizza at taco bell. Save you money and avoid this place like the rat infested shit hole it is.
Great place for explosive diarrhea

My first time in Providence and was in the mood for delicious pizza and I found it here. The staff was very polite. The food was made very quickly. We also order burgers, a shrimp platter and fries. The restaurant was very clean. Definetly stop by if ever in the area.

When this place opened, it was decent… Needless to say, haven’t ordered anything in 2 years. Frozen pizza LITERALLY tastes better. The best part, is anyone giving more than 2 stars… must be part of the job description, in order to keep your job, you need to post 1 positive post per week.
On more than 1 occasion, I threw out the pizza, I made the mistake of calling, cause they clearly don’t give s crap. The one thing that shocks me is how is it still open, usually places with dog food like this doesn’t last long… PC kids are bankrolling this joint.

I’m a Massachusetts transplant, and for a while I had just refused to eat pizza here in RI because I have had one too many that were greatly dissapointing.
That is until I came to Big Tony’s.
I honestly wasn’t expecting much. We were hungry one night and Big Tony’s was open. We decided to walk in and order a pepperoni pizza. As we were sitting and waiting, I looked around and got even hungrier looking at everyone’s plates of delicious looking pizza.
When I took the first bite, I almost couldn’t believe it. Not only had I found an acceptable pizza in RI, it was actually good, really good! I was so excited to return.
I also had one of their cookies. They honestly don’t look like much but surprisingly delicious.
The second time, not so much. Instead of walking in to order, we phoned ahead for pick up. I have no idea what happened, because the pizza had tasted nothing like it had before, the crust was much thinner than I remembered it to be, and it was almost burnt.
Another thing that wasn’t okay with me, was whilewe were in the shop, we had overheard one of the employees on the phone with a customer. She was being completely rude, talking down to him/​her, speaking in slang, almost screaming and laughing/​making fun of the customer with the employees– all while still on the phone with them. I understand venting about how difficult it can be to speak with customers sometime, but that is a conversation that is to happen after someone places an order, not during. What gives you the right to speak to someone like that? Not cool.
I will be giving it another chance because I’d love to taste that amazingly delicious pizza I had that first time once more.

I’ve been to Big Tony’s several times and overall the place is pretty good. The Gangster Wraps are really good, especially the Sammy «The Bull» Gravano wrap. This wrap is made up of steak tips, BBQ sauce, provolone cheese and french fries — delicious! They do have a huge selection of pizza slices if you’re on the run and just need to grab a quick bite to eat. If you’re looking for late night food, they deliver until 4am so you can’t go wrong with that! The menu is huge and I’d be surprised if you couldn’t find something you like.

This place is not only a disgrace to Italian Americans, but the neighborhood it is in and pizza in general. The pizza delivery drivers and the tractor trailers who do the food deliveries for the restaurant frequently block both sides of the road making it nearly impassible and a nightmare to get by, day and night, beginning around 7 am with their daily delivery from a tractor trailer who blocks the area in front of a stop sign and ¾ of the road that is already too small to handle all traffic it has. Never the less we were starving and gave it a shot again today after 3 previous deliveries that stuck out over the last year. One which I might add, we were accused of trying to swindle them out of an order of chicken tenders because they had to come back 3, yes, THREE times in one night because the person taking the order couldn’t grasp the concept of chicken tenders without buffalo sauce. Place should be called Big Phonies, it’s a bunch of guys who are definitely not Italian, ripping off Italian American culture so they can sell pizza to college kids who don’t know any better. Pictures of our ordeal are attached of the 2 whole pizza we threw out only to order papa johns. Check out the pics, our dog wouldn’t even touch this pizza.
I feel like I’m being harsh but this place is a nightmare for the neighborhood and has consistently served us terrible food on several occasions. This place is part of the reason we are moving out of this neighborhood.

. My family always orders from this pizza place. We ordered online like we always do and on the receipt we received it said cheese pizza with one topping like we always get. The pizza we got was only a cheese and cold. When we called and asked to speak to the manager. He was rude. I was told I need to learn how to order after he looked it up and saw we order all the time. He then told me that he could only send us pepperoni and that there was nothing he could do for it being cold. When my husband wanted to talk to him he was told he sounds like a girl and that we had to learn how to order. He would not send us another pizza stating it was our fault. And that what is he suppose to guess what topping? When if it only came over as cheese with one topping they could of called us like any other place to Verify the order. Then we were told we needed to learn how to order. We were then hung up on. When we called back we were handed again to the same manager who then told us he was the owner after telling us the first time he was the manager.
We will tell everyone we know about how we were treated and how rude the manager Romeo was.

Well. Where do we start. About a year ago we moved to the neighborhood. Not knowing any better we ordered delivery. They messed up our order three times we ordered chicken fingers for the kids. And they delivered buffalo wings the first time. Then buffalo tenders the second. And then they called us liars and told us we wanted free chicken tenders. How ever we returned the uneaten product each time. They left the chicken fingers on the front steps without ringing the bell.
So we were off to a bad start. Like any bad relationship it didn’t end there. Their suppliers deliver daily. Pepsi. Cara Donna etc. Blocking the streets as if their drivers parking all over the streets was not bad enough add in some tracker trailer type trucks into the mix. The delivery drivers must be blind, there are No parking signs everywhere and they have a parking lot right there for them yet they block the road.
I wish I could upload the videos of me just waiting to get through to my house from smith street. Sometimes I think I could walk faster.
We have on occasion tried to give them another chance. However like any bad relationship it doesn’t work out.
Don’t let their name fool you. There is nothing Italian about big phony’s.
Do your self a favor and order from Tommy’s or NYC pizza.

It was our first time ordering from this restaurant, and it sure wont be our last. We ordered the chicken parm calzone and the meaty calzones, and they were huge! And i really mean it. They were really delicious.
The pizza is decent too and the place is open till 3am so if your hungry from the bar and want to grab a slice, they do a decent job.
I would really recommend this place!

Great to order late night but delivery takes 45 mins to an hour. Worth it!

I kinda love it. The pizza is great, they deliver until 4am and there is a pretty decent menu with a lot to choose from.
I’ve mostly ordered late night, and delivery can take a long time. It’s also a little more pricey than other pizza places in the area (dominos) but I think the quality is better.
They sell pizza by the slice on site and one night a week have all you can eat pizza. The staff is also really friendly.
I would definitely recommend Big Tony’s especially for late night food!

Pizza is one of my favorite foods and living in Providence there is no shortage of different pizza places to choose from. If I’m in the mood for somewhere close by or in need of a late night bite to eat, Big Tony’s is usually a good reliable choice.
The thing I really like about this place is that they have a big selection of regular and specialty pizza’s to choose from. They come New York style (with big slices) and while they might tend to be on the greasier side sometimes, I feel like you get your moneys worth. Also, one of my favorite side orders to snack on are their potato wedges. They seem to season them just right and are perfect to dip in a side honey mustard.
While the pizza here is pretty good, I have been disappointed the couple of times I decided to order sandwhiches. The chicken salad pita was pretty bland in flavor and their Italian grinder was a bit underwhelming when it came to how much meat and toppings they actually put into it. So I’ll normally just stick with pizza and sides /​appetizers.
With a combo of free deilvery until 4am and good pizza at a decent price, Big Tony’s is a local spot I can normally rely on to satify my pizza cravings.

Decent pizza. Needed something to eat and fell onto this place. It wasn’t bad but not amazing. Was a bit greasy and floppy. New York style pizza wasn’t bad for a quick eat.

.. in the past i always ordered the donnie brasco wrap on a tomato basil tortilla … i give that wrap a ⁴⁄₅ stars if you like a spicy i say to try this out …

looking at the pictures, i would appreciate real delivered food pictures or at least pictures from other customers. more than half of the pics looks like the food was made just for pics lol menu on the background and all … i find it hard to belive that «Anthony» is a die hard big tonys fan lol 27 pics
