Crown Fried Chicken

Omg first time I’ve ever been. Then place was so clean & the best chicken fingers & fries I’ve ever had. Blows kfc away!!!

Based on my one and only visit. Was really in the mood for some fried chicken. Disappointed! Enough said
Btw, almost five stars is ridiculous for this place.

I love chicken. Especially the fried kind. On Christmas Eve, instead if feasting in the seven fishes, I notoriously bring along a bucket of fried goodness (much to the delight of the young kids as well).
In the never ending battle of unhealthy chicken Crown is my go-​to for quick fire satisfaction. I find that their chicken, while not always as LARGE as it’s big chain competition, far surpasses the others in taste (don’t get me wrong, little compares to Popeyes spicy chicken, but the breading is very flavorful here).
Let me also say — for a basic, watery hot sauce, theirs is AMAZING! It’s a perfect compliment to their juicy chicken. The shoestring fries are always fantastic and it’s way more affordable than any of the other chains around.
My biggest vice is their «firey fingers». It’s with shame I admit to being absolutely in love with a obviously frozen and processed meat product — but the taste these little strips of goodness pump out is by far one of my favorite things ever. Years ago a place called «Paradiso Pizza» offered the same product in a sandwich — and I got hooked. When I found them on the Crown menu, it wouldn’t be odd to find me there 2 – 3 times a week.
Let me also say — it’s not a great location. It’s clean and the staff is fine (when they aren’t showing obvious signs of frustration with their local clientele) but a friend who first introduced me to this place said that because I was there with him after midnight (he is Nigerian) that I was granted a special ghetto pass to get in and never feel bothered.
The good news — there are a few other locations (both Crown and Royal Fried Chicken) around that state that lend to a better overall experience — but this is my original and I still enjoy it there when I find myself in the area (and of course on Christmas Eve)

Mmmmm. Who doesn’t love fried chicken at 2am after a night out on the town? If that’s what you’re looking for then Crown Fried Chicken is it!

I am a big fan of Crown’s Chicken. I remember always coming here after school with my friends and ordering the Spicy fried chicken with the yummy greasy french fries. This place isn’t KFC, this place is actually better than KFC. Their prices are cheap! They have the best party platters too. After 4 months, I’m glad I got to eat Crown’s chicken again! :)
