Little Dive Bar After a pizza at Tommy’s stopped a couple at Gilligan’s. This is a very small divey bar with a lively crowd. Cheap drinks poured strong and the music was loud. Nicer older crowd in this place. Good tunes, cheap drinks, nice people. Okay by me. Thanks

I admittedly wandered in here out of desperation. Our party of three, faced with a 45 minute wait for a table at Los Andes next door(and no room at their bar), ambled toward this establishment for a beer to kill the time. It was like discovering a 70s-era household basement bar, from the décor right down to the service. It was unclear for the entirety of our stay who was the official bartender, or if there even was one, as those who were serving were also sitting amongst the other patrons. Not bad, just unsually casual. Drab and boring, but comfortable, and the Old West-style«who are these strangers?» quiet that fell over the place when we entered was not long lived. We left buzzed and smiling.

Gilligans is a lovely dive bar. Since working down the street, this has become my favorite after work watering hole. THEDRINKSARESOCHEAP. I drink Jameson… A Jameson and gingerale is $ 3.50 and definitely not a cheap-o pour. If you are a broke college student balling on a budget then this is the bar to get hammertime at!
