Our dog nicknamed — «leather eater» chewed a hole in my sons 1 yr old leather jacket in the shoulder area — &@!&@# As you can imagine I set out to get it repaired and was told from a local cobbler(love that I have a cobbler) to try Hudson. I immediately take the jacket to Hudson and within a few minutes I was agreeing to the best repair plan, patch it and then patch the other side so it looks symmetrical. Yes! $ 75 — people it’s leather & still less than purchasing a new jacket! A couple of weeks later I pick up the jacket and it’s AMAZING! I can’t believe how great it looks, this is not a patch job this is tailoring a fine, fine job of it too and worth $ 75. My son loves his jacket and I love Hudson! Leather eater isn’t going anywhere so it is a peace of mind that we have Hudson.

Very dishonest workers. I brought my mcqueen suede bag in to be cleaned and accidentally over paid the women at the counter by 140 dollars. I realized my mistake a few minutes later. Called immediately to make the manager aware of this. The women supposedly had already left for the day he called her and of coarse she denied it. How this women can sit there and have a conversation with me then steal from me is beyond me. Karma that’s all I can say. Shame on her, once a thief always a thief it will cost that company a lot more in the long run not to mention a very good Customer !! Never again

Expert leather savers to the rescue! I was moaning about my leather riding boots that got messed up w/salt and water stains from a so-called«shoe-shiner» in Jersey to my favorite Italian drycleaner Mike. Mike recommended going to Hudson b/c of the extent of damage and so why not save some money and go there direct(another reason to go to Broadway Cleaners and Mike’s Tailoring… Te amo Mike!). So I made my way over to Hudson Services, they look one look at my boots and said tsk, tsk, we can try but we can’t promise anything b/c they’re messed up really bad. The boots cost more than 10 times the amount to try to clean them, so I figured it was worth a shot. A week later, I got the boots back, the leather still a faint water stain on them, which I pointed out to the lady at the register. I asked her if anything else can be done, and she responded by saying that once water soaks in, it stains, but if I wanted to, they can try to apply some additional color to them. The next day, I went to pick up my redone boots and I was surprised to see that not only was the water staining gone, but the boots looked better than expected. The color and whatever else they applied really brought out the true beauty and suppleness to the leather and made them look great again. Since the 2nd trip was a redo, they didn’t charge me extra either. If you think you have a lost cause case for leather but you want to try saving it, I wouldn’t hesitate to bring them to Hudson Services. In fact, I’m bringing more«lost cause» leather goods very soon to try to save them as well. I’m so psyched to have my boots back and a new trusted place to care for my leather goods. Thanks Hudson Services for a difficult job well done!
