This place never did it for me. Lacking a decent selection of beers and wine. Also the prices are idiotic for it’s location. Also don’t go during peak hours, there is an employee who seems like he’s worked there since he got booted from school, he talks your ear off about non sense. Makes it almost unbearable to go in there. The owner and the other older gentleman are more than nice, just poorly run.

Every so often, in a funky place on the edge of a slightly rough neighborhood, one can find a veritable gem of a store that has a certain special something that makes it worth going back to or driving out of the way to get there. I can’t say Liquorama has what it takes to make it anything more than a decent local packey. Located in a small building, it’s got a standard beer selection — nothing fancy — a lot of the good hard stuff, and a small but above average wine selection. If you’re in the area and need to pick up something fast, it does the job. Better, though to drive a bit further, to Federal Hill or Branch Avenue for anything more substantial.
