Method Fitness Studio

Method Fitness is a very appealing studio. Well lit, good equipment and never too crowded. But the real reason to go for me is my personal trainer, Kyle Hess. My goal has been fitness maintenance and I could not ask for a better coach. He has a impressive knowledge of different exercises and nutrition. I can tell he reads up on sports science behind the scenes. Not only that but he’s personable and knows how to tailor a workout to the individual. I’ve never had a workout with him that wasn’t both fun as well as challenging.

I’ve been working with Method for over 10 years and both enjoy it and get a ton out of it. Kyle is an amazing trainer who worked with me during my pregnancy (had a session with him on my due date) and got me back into leather pants in 3 months! It’s like we have a trainer to the stars right here in RI.

I have used many fitness studios over the years, and Method Fitness is the best yet. As an older female, it’s great to find a place where my needs are not only taken seriously but are clearly used to create my personal fitness program. Since the studio is small, there is never a sense of being just one of a crowd. But at the same time the space is large enough to contain lots of excellent equipment. Super clean, great changing room, easy parking.

I love this new location. It’s still the same quality group of trainers in a nicely converted space that is easy to get to and park. I’ve had a great experience training with Nigel, he understands my abilities and injuries and works with me to get me where I want to be safely while also pushing me and introducing me to new workouts that engage my whole body.

Method is a great training studio for those who are serious about fitness and are dedicated to working with a trainer. It’s not a regular gym, you’re there specifically to work with a trainer, not on your own. It’s spacious, there are never more than one or two people there, and it’s very well-​kept. I’ve worked most recently with Ramon Betances, who’s been great. He pushes me to do my best but always with a sense of humor and professionalism. He’s got an impish grin that keeps you going through the workout but he takes his work seriously. If you want some place that really caters to clients and is a cut above, this is your gym. They don’t take walk-​ins, so call or email for an appointment. And don’t forget to ask for Ramon!

I started training at Method in February of this year and it’s been one of the best experiences I’ve had yet. The equipment is new and clean, the trainers are personable and extremely knowledgeable and the atmosphere is judgement-​free. I’ve been working with Adam for awhile now and my results are obvious. He helped me get on the right track in many aspects, from nutrition to cardio to weight lifting. I’ve learned a lot and I feel great. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone looking to put in the work and effort to get results.

There is nothing better than having one on one or group training done with experienced professionals who take the time to get to know you personally.
Working out doesn’t feel boring like planet fitness or intimidating like some other roided out gyms I have tried in the past. (La fitness in Cranston I’m talking to you).
It’s nice to finally find a place with normal people who are just here to workout and have fun doing it.

I love Method’s take on fitness: they recognize that everyone has a different fitness journey, that fitness goals vary, and that getting healthy is a process. By working with Adam and Nigel, I’ve learned that changing my body composition and dietary discipline has to be habitual, and that success is related to consistency. They’ve also taught me there is no magic pill, no fantasy workout, no fancy sweatmore sweatpants that are gonna burn my fat, lift my butt, and sculpt my arms; only my hard work will achieve those things. And that the hard work is WAY worth it.

Worried about Method being way too bro-​tastic for your tastes? No worries there. Amahl, the owner, does an incredible job curating a team of trainers that is dedicated to a healthful lifestyle and are super fit themselves, but somehow lack the macho-​man-​cool-​story-​bro gene.
Worried about Method not being hardcore enough for you? No worries there, either. These trainers are SERIOUS. I see some of the trainers’ personal workouts while I’m coming and going in the space — and their strength, ability, stamina, and discipline AMAZE me. Super inspirational.
Couple other plusses: the space is clean and beautiful, parking is easy peasy, there are always fresh towels to wipe your brow, and spring water is provided to quench your thirst.
In short, integrating Method into your fitness routine is nothing but a good thing. You’ll get where you want to go faster, with better knowledge, and with great guidance.

Adam is a fantastic trainer! He is smart, intuitive, adaptable and ensures that you will get a balanced, full body workout. I cannot recommend him enough. He will work around a busy schedule and will inspire you to be healthier person.

I am a very happy client of Method having been with them for about three years. Both Kyle and Shane are smart, dedicated and very skilled personal trainers and have helped me tremendously. The new facility in Richmond Square is well-​equipped and very roomy, and their schedule works very well with my early-​morning routines. A great place.

I started working out at Method back in 2012. I’ve worked with two different trainers: Caleb, who since moved, and Shane. My experience at this fitness studio has been great. The staff is very personable and there’s never any pressure to buy more sessions, etc. They also vary the workouts to keep them different and challenging. The facility is also very clean, and the equipment is fairly new.

My husband and I have been clients at Method for years. We have been very happy their through several trainers. Their new facility in Richmond Square is great. Adam and Shane doing a great job. The owner, Amahl, is an engaged member of the Providence Community and not only runs a good business but gives back. We strongly recommend Method.

Expert professional one-​on-​one personal training. Workout program carefully designed for clients’ requirements and each session coached and monitored. Very nice facility with state of the art equipment. Staff friendly and non-​judgmental. Highly recommended.

Method gym is an open, clean and welcoming environment. The trainers I know, Adam and Shane, absolutely tune in to where you are with your body and health goals and work in a very realistic non-​judgmental way. They have a nice blend of respect and nudging to bring out your best and to keep your motivation going. I think that is what made me stick for a year now!!! I have never been intimidated. I have always felt supported-​even through dips in my health and fitness level. They also educate you about your anatomy as they teach, or adjust certain work-​outs. I love knowing more about how my body works. I firmly believe it is my relationship with Adam that has led to my success of never giving up on myself because I know he will not give up on me.

I’ve been a client at Method Fitness for about five years now. I’ve had some medical issues along the way and Amahl & his staff have been super supportive. I’ve been lucky enough to work with many of the trainers and loved them all. It is not like other gyms. It’s a very calm, comfortable environment. My goal has always been to be strong and healthy. Of course I’d love to shed some pounds too but none of the trainers ever pushed me beyond what I could do. I’ve never felt intimidated going to Method either. There are men, women, teens, young & old, every shape and size person of all different abilities who work out at Method. Plus, they have a tread wall that is very fun (a little scary at first for someone like me who doesn’t love to try new things). My previous trainer eased me into wall climbing and I loved it. My current trainer, Shane, has worked my love of boxing into my training routine. He really didn’t do much of that with other clients but he knew I loved it so he started working it in. That’s why I love Method… they listen to you and they work with you. They make fitness fun!

I have been going to Method Fitness for a few years now. We love our trainer, Caleb and he puts up with all of our shenanigans.
