Things have changed. The kitchen is open & serving good pub food. It’s more of a neighborhood bar with nightly specials & Trivia on Tuesday. Check it out.

I’ve been to this bar twice. Once early on a weeknight. The crowd was mixed and the bartender only seemed to pay attention to two girls on the other side of the bar. I got one beer in about 45 minutes and left. Once on a Saturday night. It was full of kids that didn’t look like they were old enough to drink, because most of them were falling all over the place and spilling drinks. I will say that night our bartender was very good, and very patient with the drunks, all though she didn’t seem to be cutting anyone off. I have no desire to go back. Also they had a 20 $ min on credit cards.

A remodeled little pub in Providence. Not a really great section, but it could have potential with a weekend college crowd. Definite room for improvement though. The bartender was really cute, but really aloof. It didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing, but she still took her sweet time doing it. I’m a bartender myself, and that annoys me to no end. It’s great to have a good looking staff, but if you don’t know what a «number 9» is, when the draft tap has a big #9 on it?! I don’t know… I am all for giving someone a chance to learn the ropes, but they should at least know the basics. The patrons were mostly younger guys sitting around the bar– oogling the bartender in her little black shorts– and a group of young silly girls, who really didn’t quite look, or act, old enough to be there. The place itself could use a pool table. It’s really tiny and it has some tables against the back wall, which, I suppose, is an attempt at classiness? But it should embrace itself as a dive bar/pub and put a pool table in instead, in my opinion. Eh, I won’t go back. Not unless I hear it’s made some serious improvements. It’s easy enough to go downtown to a little pub that has an established, knowledgeable staff in a more desirable section.
