I’m a regular! I’ve been going to Three Sisters for six years now… possibly because it’s the BEST coffee/icecream/restaurant in the world(their coffee is unmatched). More importantly, the service is incredible. They have the friendliest people in the whole world there. Three Sisters is the real-life Cheers of Providence.

So good. Great ambiance and excellent customer service. We had the Petey’s Panini and the Governator and both were to die for. The tea and coffee is exceptional, unfortunately we were too stuffed to get any of the delicious looking smoothies or ice cream flavors. Parking is sufficient too which is usually a problem for me. Definitely recommend!

Ahh Three Sisters, a nice little coffee/ice cream/breakfast spot. I have yet to be there or walk by when this place isn’t busy. In the summer, it’s the place to be for all of their delicious homemade ice cream offerings. I typically go here for the caffeine! Their café miel is my favorite. Espresso, milk, honey & cinnamon. what a delicious combination. I’ve recently tried a smoothie as well, A+! The staff is usually pleasant and the drinks come out as fast as they can, definitely worth the wait for whatever delicious treat you get.

Mmmm Three Sisters was A+++. This quirky lil ice cream parlour & café serves up tasty frozen treats in never-before-seen flavors such as green tea chip and fluffernutter. The service is really nice and happy to let you sample some flavors before making up your mind. I got to try the alligator pie, banana toffee, and coffee crunch ice creams. All three flavors were incredible, but alligator pie was my favorite. It’s green tea mint ice cream with Oreo and chocolate chips, and it’s reminiscent of thin mints. I really like the texture of their ice cream, as it’s creamy and elastic but not super thick. Their flavors are also very pronounced — my banana toffee ice cream legitimately tasted like banana rather than banana flavoring. Even though I just had it, I’m already craving alligator pie again! I love this place and will be returning soon.

Great food, great ice cream. the kids menu is perfect it includes a choice of sandwiches served with goldfish, veggies, drink and ice cream. The nacho wrap is wonderful. My only criticism is the bottle of Sriracha available had tops that were very dirty with dried on product all over

I’ll have to come back and write a longer review, but for now, this place never disappoints! Came here after the snow storm, and because they were late in opening, we were offered a coffee free of charge. Amazing customer service… couldn’t thank them enough :)

The food here is good and service is friendly. The prices are reasonable, and location is fabulous. It’s the perfect spot to stop for a quick bite or an ice cream cone.

It’s always a good day with Three Sisters. Probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had at such reasonable prices. Favorite flavors include: coffee & oreos, kulfi, dirty garden mint(the common favorite), alligator pie, max’s mudpie… they’re all good. Depends on what you’re craving. Really creative flavors with rotating specials– a bummer when a favorite is no longer on the menu. Pre-hand-packed pints available in the freezer for a fraction of the price to bring home and share the joy. Their ice coffee is strong and comes with coffee ice cubes. I’m not one to complain when places come up with ways to make their coffee stronger. We stopped in here once after a half marathon with a voracious appetite, grabbing ice cream and food(in that order). On the food, I can vouch for the fries and the breakfast offerings. I’d run many more half marathons if it meant I could head to Three Sisters afterwards– in fact, it’s taking all my willpower not to go right now.

Probably the best ice cream in Providence. The ice cream is very creamy to the point that it is nice and sticky, and you can tell that the ingredients are all fresh and the ice cream is homemade. You can definitely get the full flavor of all the ingredients in the ice cream. For example, the mint flavor of the dirty garden mint ice cream was almost as if you were chewing on a freshly picked mint leaf in the form of ice cream. Absolutely amazing how they can extract all of the flavors into the ice cream. I also love how densely they pack the cup full of ice cream. They will give you your money’s worth. I will definitely keep coming back for more.

Have come back again and again. I have to say I like the basics here — a simple chocolate ice cream really hits the spot. Their chicken burgers are great and the gringo dressings are awesome!

Fairly priced food, tons of variety, reasonable hours, something for everyone, beer, and they have ice cream! Menus sit on a small table as soon as you walk-in. You order at the counter and give your name. Outdoor and indoor seating. Very spacious and even on busy Saturday and Sunday mornings, there appears to be a place for everyone. Iced coffee is delicious with lots of different flavor options. They use coffee cubes instead of regular ice, which guarantees that your iced coffee won’t be watered down. It’s genius! I think more coffee places should do this. Sausage egg and cheese on a croissant, banana chocolate chip pancakes, any of the muffins, iced green tea, iced tea, and iced coffee are a few of my favorites! My only complaint about Three Sisters is their bagels. Which I don’t blame them for, as it seems that they are outsourced. They’re too hard on the outside and more like a dinner roll than a bagel on the inside. I haven’t tried the beer and french fry thing I’ve read so much about on Unilocal, but I am most definitely intrigued! I also haven’t tried the ice cream, but as soon as the weather gets warmer I’ll update. Since Three Sisters is within walking distance from my home, I will definitely be back again and again!

Super cute place. I only got the ice cream and didn’t love it, but all the food looked and smelled really good. I got their two seasonal flavors, triple chocolate chip and banana bread. It was a bit too sweet and the texture wasn’t to my liking.

This spot is super hit or miss for me now. I loved it at first but now the past 5 times I’ve gone they’ve gotten my order wrong or just never put it in and fought with me about whether I actually ordered and paid or not. Today, I went to get a vanilla chai as my saving grace for my shitty day and it ended up not being a vanilla chai at all. I had already walked back to my apartment and did not have the energy to walk back and argue with them. Needless to say, I’m giving up on Three Sisters. *their ice cream is really good though so if you go in and just grab a pint from the fridge you’ll be fine.

I’ve visited 3 Sisters a handful of times over the past few years, and witness them mature from a communal-seating, artist space-sharing, ice cream joint-that-makes-the-occasional– sandwich to a bustling, eclectic dining option. For me, their meal and pastry items are a mixed bag… I’ve not had a sandwich or treat that has blown my socks off. But! But. The ice cream is fantastic, and the flavors are so inventive! I recently had some amalgamation of s’mores and bananas foster, and I haven’t been able to find my damn socks since. It’s a great place to relax with friends or grab a snack/quick bite before a night in the city. 3 Sisters has definitely grown up, but retains that inclusive, relaxed, communal feeling… a Hope St. staple, for sure!

Gotta add something: Melissa makes the BEST hamburgers in Providence. And there are some very good ones — at swanky restaurants and not as swanky. But Melissa makes ‘em best. Also: Sage, black pepper and dark chocolate chip ice cream?! Not just interesting, it’s a great flavor!

The Kulfi and black raspberry ice creams are great flavors with Kulfi being ultimate favorite. It’s basically baklava ice cream made with a combination of nuts, rose water and honey flavors. I’ve also had their Rise breakfast plate, which came with perrrrrfecct home fries. Their home fries seem to be lightly battered to give them a crunchy shell– yum.

They definitely got the message that major improvements needed to be made here and followed through with it. My last few morning visits have been perfect. New Harvest Coffee is back!!! My breakfast order was ready in 5 minutes — way better than the unbearable waits of the past. Best part was the super friendly barista/casheir. He apologized for asking so many questions to get the order started. He was so awesome that he offered me an extra espresso shot in my drink. Great service and food, thanks for a great start to my day.

An update for the update: Three Sisters is now all growns up. That beer & French fries thing they have? Do it. It’s soooo goood. I love the new space; what was once dingy and dirty is now fresh and inviting. The large windows still make the place bright and sunny, and the new paint and menu boards take it to another level. Also, more seating! Yippee. In addition to the fabulous(and I mean FABULOUS) ice cream options(check out their daily specials, you guys) and sandwiches, they’ve now got a whole host of other items, too. Worth mentioning? Burgers. Fries. BEER. And these awesome ice cream drinks with coffee or root beer or any other soda you want… Fancy floats, I guess. The service is still friendly but made even better by their still-warm professionalism and efficiency. This is a popular spot, and it’s all order-at-the-counter, and their menu is absolute huge, so my hats are off to these guys. They really took a great thing and made it better. Well done, Three Sisters. I love you and your brownie sundae so much.

Check out the smoothies! I am a lover of peanut butter and they make a yummy one w get this… blueberries! Try it and you will be hooked like me! My daughter can’t get enough of the cookies & coffee ice cream, I snuck a bite and it is wonderful! Always a line here just be prepared, it is worth the small wait. The sorbet is delightful like sorbet should be! I haven’t stayed yet, we always want to go walking or take it to go. I would have loved to slap 5 stars on this baby but I had a request after I placed my order denied! No… «I can help you later or you have to go to the register to make a request», nothing. So if you change your mind or want to modify your order, think twice because it is not happening here.

There are few things this woman loves more than paninis. So when driving past the There Sisters sign and seeing that they make paninis, I knew I must give them a try. There is just something about fresh, delicious ingredients perfectly warmed between flat bread or slices that warms my heart and makes my stomach growl. Three Sisters’ paninis have made this my go to lunch spot. Healthy, fresh, and scrumptious food. I also highly recommend trying their homemade ice cream(in both traditional and not so traditional flavors) and a london frog, for my fellow tea fans.
