GREAT PLACE & GREAT PRICES! The artist loft is on the second floor. A wonderful little place with everything you could need. If he doesn’t have it he’ll order it. GREAT PRICES! Read the other reviews for more on that topic. The discount is already applied and teachers, students, and local artists get a little bit more taken off.
The owner Rick is nice and super helpful. He’s got great finds like the sketchbook that’s a better knockoff than the famously expensive one with the pocket in the back. Way better paper! What a find.

Was very happy to find printing supplies at the Artist Loft while spending a week in Provincetown. An impressive selection of art supplies in a central location. We also had a nice chat with the owner. I hope this place does well! (Was told they have same day delivery service. I’d definitely take advantage if I were local.)

It’s unfortunately becoming more rare to find high-quality professional artist supplies at prices that seem reasonable. The artist loft in Provincetown is a great store whose owner has great respect for the working artist and a great knowledge of professional supplies. He’s a town guy, the guy who will take the time to talk about all kinds of things but most importantly what your needs are, and your work. I couldn’t recommend this man Rick or his store more highly for great local supplies discounted at an affordable price. thx Rick !

Artist Loft is a hidden gem.
The selection is stellar. They must have every art-related product your heart desires. It’s very well-organized and easy to locate what you need. The prices are quite low for what you get.
The owner is very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about art and art supplies. He gives lots of discounts, too.
Plus they offer free delivery! A perfect store for artists of all mediums.

Wow! Amazing little gem. Great, extensive supply for the serious artist. Prices were far under what we expected. Actually more competitive than our favorite web stores! The owner was helpful and offers free local delivery for that forgotten item! How wonderful to be able to shop local, get everything we needed (even things that are often not in smaller shops) and not spend more than we would have at large competitors! We will be back whenever we’re in town!

Up the stairs! Great selection of paint-water colors, oils & acrylics and many brushes to choose from; also had a small metal palette I was looking for– perfect! The owner is warm & friendly and the shop had a great vibe.
The hardware stores in town may carry similar items, but the prices are better here and it has an art focus some of us prefer.
