After this establishment «lost» my reservation (which incidentally was made via email so it was quite easy to document that it was indeed made but simply not recorded?) they went so far as to not refund me all my money insisting I needed to pay for the fees associated with reversing a charge. Steer clear.

Where does one start when you realize you’ve just reserved and overpaid for a shit assed closet complete with handprints on the eave ceiling (infer what that was about). From start to finish we were deceived by the website photos which made the room look so much bigger. This was probably achieved by a wide angled lens and an upshot and by contorting oneself into the farthest corner of the room. As for the room it was microscopic. When we sat on the end of the bed it flew up and hit the ceiling. I had no idea the room came with self made entertainment. As for the continental breakfast it basically consisted of oily muffins tiny boxes of raisins and some fruit replete with fruit flies. Let us not forget the sanka that served for your morning coffee. Lets talk about the shower stall. When I dropped the soap and bent to pick it up I was wedged head and butt. Thank God the fire dept was right across the street to extricate me (I’m a thin guy @ 160lbs. Coming home at night and climbing two sets of steep steps with no working hall lights was an accident waiting to happen. I can only assume they must have an enormous liability policy and don’t care about the safety of their patrons. Our friends who also stayed in a downstairs suite were equally unsatisfied with their room which not only looked worn compared to the pictures but with the dust filled ac unit actually gave his partner a severe sinus infection which cost him 2 weeks of sick time to recover. The one bonus of this place was the outside deck overlooking commercial street and the water which gave you both clean air and space to move and enjoy oneself In short if you are looking for a rough outdoors style camping experience then this is the place to go. If you have a higher standard for what a resort should be avoid this place like the plague ! Oh and those 44 4 star reviews… 44 friends with a vested interest in snagging more visitors into this vacation hell hole.
